Leadbelly makes all other BBQ joint in Orange County look like a joke. The ribs are down right amaZing. Even if you are a not a big fan of ribs, this place will change your mind easily. The meat is moist and not dry at all. I really like that they have the dipping sauce on the side, which allows you to control the sweetness level. The side salad that came with a full rack of ribs is huge, in other joint, it would probably be considered a full salad. I also ordered their spicy sausages and it was down right spicy. For a non rib type of girl, I think I had a change of heart at this place. The positive side to this place is the price is definitely reasonable.
This place.... Was so utterly delicious, the staff so helpful and nice, portions were huge, and so clean in there. This place has checked off all my boxes: Cleanliness, customer service, and quality. It possessed every single one of those things fantastically. Very impressed.

North and South pulled pork hamburger
Spicy chicken sandwich
Hush puppies
German potato salad (so delicious)
Jalapeno Mac and cheese
Corn bread
Dragons Milk stout(beer)

The only issues I have are that it is small and hot inside. The food came out quick and was hot and tasty. Ordered the pork belly fries for our apitizer. ***Warning its huge*** good for 4 people or more. Main course was a brisket sandwich and my guest did 3 assorted sliders. We enjoyed it and had lots of left overs.
Oh my gosh... look at the size of those fries! They were disgustingly delicious and pretty much a meal in it's self for 2. The pulled pork on fries is amazing as well as in the sandwich! Regular fries are very good too! This is my son's and his wife's favorite BBQ place. Now I know why! Well done! I'll be back!
The BBQ sandwich I had was fantastic. It's called the DNR and has pulled pork, spicy sausage, and tri-tip on a soft brioche bun with grilled peppers and spicy BBQ sauce. It was delicious. The fries were really good too. The price is fair for the amount of food you get.

Pulled pork and tri tip are the best ， tender and juicy , smoked just the right way to bring out amazing flavors, I never was big pork fan , but this time I’m sold!!! 😋 😋 😋
People who like a bit extra fatty definitely need to get the pork belly , eat it with the sweet sauce while it’s steaming hot You will have the best !!

Ribs are meaty but no soft enough, and cost 2 dollars extra, still not a bad choice but maybe will go for something different next time .
Side dish we try Mac and cheese/corn bread/butter corn/steam vage .
Corn bread was Amazing, pretty thick and sponge , taste the real flavor, other are ok.
If wanna a “healthy meal “ maybe go for vage more than 🌽, it is Nice and creamy but after that you are gonna need a 10mile jog .
Staff are super friendly and helpful, always gives good advice on how to make a great combination.

Food was amazing, we got the garlic pork fries, the burnt ends with corn bread, and the cheese steak. All the food was delicious, and I'll definitely be back. However, the service was slow and the bathroom was kinda gross. Maybe it was just an off day. Still coming back again.
Ok. So I waited till today to post about this place, I had it twice now and have to say that this place is amazing, so simple yet so delicious! Highly recommend the chorizo burger and the North and South Burger can't go wrong with either.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I had my drink refilled before I even knew I needed it refilled. We got the hush puppies, and they hooked us up with an agave syrup for it which was amazing.
Got the chorizo burger, and the unholy trinity...
The freshness of these burgers, the seasoning of the meats, and the fact that their buns didn't get soggy and lose shape... Won us over! We will most definitely come back, need to try the bacon jam burger and the pork belly sandwich next!!
