Love their shrimp fried rice, pad Thai, garlic pepper pork over rice and pad sew eew. For dessert... sticky rice with mango. They get really busy and people place their order for pick up. One of my favorite Thai place and the owner is very sweet!
By far the best Pad Thai in town! Their orange chicken is crisp & crunchy w tons of flavor & my fam is crazy about the pineapple fried rice!!! They never disappoint!
Best Thai food I've had in a while. There are so many options that it was difficult to decide; yet the staff was very patient and helpful. I had the salt, pepper, and garlic shrimp. My daughter had the pineapple chicken dish, which was so succulent and juicy. You could taste so many flavors in 1 dish. For dessert I recommend the sticky rice mango. So sweet and perfectly ripened mangoes to take your taste buds on a magical journey. Can't wait to go back and try another wonderful dish.
Great place to come with family and enjoy delicious Thai food. Appetizer main dish and desert were really good. Ask for the Thai tea it’s delicious. 10/10
Had craving for Thai cuisine all morning. Found this place nearby. Very authentic Thai flavor. The chicken satay was delicious. The yellow curry chicken was awesome 👏
Absolutely love this place. Food is always amazing. But I've gotta say... The new guys they've hired for Waiter Staff need some help. Table service has gone down a bit. They delivered our order wrong twice.
The dishes were a hit and miss but they got a great selection for food to try. I didn’t find their noodle soup dishes authentic, which I was excited to try but the basic Thai dishes are very good, like pad Thai or the fried rice. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great.
Modest neighborhood eatery in busy strip mall.
The greeting, or lack thereof, could use a little work, but overall this was a solid choice for quick, casual Thai food.
We started with $2.75 Chang beers (special pricing all the time). One of us ordered the cashew nut chicken dinner combo. The entree portion wasn’t big, but it came with soup, egg rolls, wontons and rice, so it was plenty of food. We also ordered a combination fried rice and chicken pad Thai.
The soup’s broth was clear but savory. The wontons and egg rolls were also good. The cashew chicken was tender and flavorful with a hint of spice (requested 3 out of 10). The rice dish was good, if maybe a little heavy on the oil. The pad Thai was well-seasoned and delicate. The one thing I wish they did was use white meat for their chicken. I think they used thigh meat.
Not the best we’ve had, but we’ll be back to give it another try. Again, a solid choice in the area.
Food is great. It is always crowded during lunch and dinner time.
If you don’t want to wait in lines, get there earlier.
Really Good food, we love the stir fry glass noodles , but we noticed the dishes have dramatically increased! Like DOUBLED in price! Thai basil, I love you guys but you are out of price range now😞 ... What a bummer
I come back here with my friend today for lunch. Many CSUF students come here since it’s so close to school. It is very crowded at lunch time. Some people order togo. They have a special lunch meal but we decide to try the Chicken sour soup and Pineapple Fried Rice. All the waitresses are very friendly. They can both speak Thai and English very well. All my friends love this place and they keep recommending other friends to come. Food are well served and quick prepared. Only need to wait 5-10 minutes to have our food ready. Good place to hang out with friends. If you are in Fullerton and look for a Thai restaurant, come to Thai Basil. Highly recommend
This is a go-to place! Never disappoints. Food is excellent & made exactly like you order. Don't like mushrooms? Just tell them no mushrooms or whatever you want excluded & you can choose the spice level 1 to 10. Nice atmosphere with an Asian flare. If you like Thai food, this is the best.
