Wendy's

For context: I was on a car trip with someone else when i went to this establishment, my experience might only be isolated. Its always nice to find stores with very pleasant employees, and this Wendy's is no different, I was able to have an enjoyable interaction with the staff there, it for sure made me feel more welcomed and valued by the staff, which is always a plus, as such, I would recommend. The only con about this particular Wendy's I can think about is the bathroom, it's owned and operated by the neighboring gas station, not the restaurant itself.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I pulled in off the highway. I ordered 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches PLAIN with cheese. I also ordered 2 $5 Big Bags, both with PLAIN Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers. I also ordered a Baconator Fries. I received my order and jumped back on the highway. 6 miles later I checked my order. I received 1 regular chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese and everything else on it. My 2 burgers were also not plain. I was also missing 1 spicy chicken sandwich. By the time I got off the highway and back, they were closed and the drive through was off. The only thing right in the entire order was the drinks and baconator fries. But even those were skimpy on the amount given. I really don’t recommend going to this location, especially if it’s close to closing time.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich, paid with a card - waited too long for them to tell me they couldn't make the sandwich, asked for a refund, waited too long for them to tell me they couldn't even do the refund to my card, they handed back cash and I left. Waste of time, disappointing, inconvenient. Don't bother.

I went through the drive-thru right before closing on Friday night. I hate to be *that* person who keeps everybody there late, but I got out of work late and taco bell gives me stomach aches. The young lady at the drive in window was super polite. She asked me to confirm my drink order because she didn't remember if I said diet coke or regular, but I'm grateful she checked because 95% of the time they screw up my drinks. She was very apologetic for the wait time because they had to cook fresh food since they had cleaned everything up to close. I told her no worries, and I completely understood. She was just so nice that although I didn't get her name, I wanted to call her out the best I could for excellent customer service.

We have been stopping by this place for 30 years as we drive along I-70. It’s conveniently located right off the interstate. Fill up, grab a burger, and get in your way. This time around it looks like they updated the bathrooms and gotten rid of the graffiti that’s been there for years. We always had good service at the Wendy’s and it’s a nice break in the trip.
