Roan Creek Ranch

My husband and I drove buy, saw the grocery store, went In and were excited to try the bacon, but it was so very disappointing. We took a bite each and it went to the dogs. I’ve never seen grey bacon before. We have ribs in the freezer and are hoping for a much better outcome when we prepare those. I’ve eaten Roan Creek’s product before at a restaurant I worked at locally and was impressed, so the disappointment was even more accentuated. I will let ya know about the ribs.....

Wow what a difference a year makes, and not always for the better ☹. I am shocked at Roan Creek Ranch Grocery every summer since moving to Fruita four years ago. I have always had a delightful experience at this small organic market. Although the market is small it always carried a varied selection of fresh vegetables. The counter attendant was always friendly and happy to help. Unfortunately, my shopping experience at Roan Creek Ranch Grocery this year has been a huge disappointment. Around the 1st of August my husband was so disgusted with the ineptitude and bad behavior of the counter attendant he left his items where he stood and left the establishment advising me to shop the Fruita Farmer's Market from now on. Ignoring his advice, I stopped in the store this past week for tomatoes and other fresh seasonal vegetables. The only fresh vegetable in the store was tomatoes. Furthermore, the counter attendant was not only unhelpful but rude at best. What happened to this lovely little store within a year? Very badly done Roan Creek Ranch Grocery. Advice to family, friends, and neighbors do not spend good money to be treated badly.
