Delicious food. Very nice staff. Not a fan of the tipping system. If it’s a tip, it should be paid after the service, and be based on performance. Also, 20% tip for counter service is excessive.
You should just add it into the cost of the menu items so that everyone can split it. The current format is really off-putting and distracts from an otherwise wonderful little restaurant.

This place is a no-fuss breakfast and lunch cafe that serves exactly what you're hungry for. What really sets it apart is the service! Their staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and fast. It's counter-service and they stop breakfast around noon, so get there during traditional breakfast hours if you're looking for a hardy breakfast. It's reasonably priced with entrees starting at $10 - $13. I ordered chicken tacos (a little bland, but no worries) and it came with a side of fries.. big plus. You can also upgrade your sides and include onion rings. Wonderful service & they have a cute outdoor patio that is dog friendly.

Wow!!! Is this the best breakfast I've ever had?? Yes, why yes it is!!
The Chili Verde, country gravy, green onions and poblano peppers smothered on top of a delicious 3 meat breakfast burrito was perfection. My wife had the chili relano breakfast and dae I say Camilla is chefing up the FINEST chili rellano I've ever tasted!! Crispy and delicious. I ordered the hotcake on a whim and I'll be dammed if it wasn't the best hotcake ever. Dense and crispy. I just can't even explain to you how absolutely amazing this breakfast was.
Do yourself a favor and hit up the best restaurant in the entire Grand Valley. Who woulda guessed Fruita was hiding this gem!! ❤❤❤

Be aware that there is a 20% REQUIRED gratuity will be added to your bill- no exceptions. My son, grandson and I ate there on Sunday May 1, 2022. We placed our order and the 20% automatic gratuity appeared. I tried to customize the gratuity but was not allowed to do so. I asked what would happen if I didn't want to pay the 20% gratuity and was told I would have to find another place to eat. I ordered the breakfast, paid the gratuity then had to wait for over 45 minutes before we got our breakfast. I had to inquire several times about the status of the order and it wasn't until I told the waitress that we were ready to leave that we received our order. The breakfast was "OK" but the experience left a negative impression in my mind. I wrote to Camilla noting that I did not like that an establishment would take away a customer's discretion to leave a gratuity that was commensurate with the level of service received. I sent a copy of my letter to the Fruita Chamber of Commerce. I hope you will join me in protecting the right of the consumer to leave any amount that the customer believes is commensurate with the level of service received. Great little place! Weather was perfect for sitting outside but there is ample sitting inside too. Had the breakfast burrito, couldn’t finish it!, just ok big! Was really tasty and the green chili was not too bad. Portions are big and prices are not too bad. Definitely recommend!

We placed a to go order. We were charged a 20% gratuity fee without being able to make our own choice. That is dishonest, unless you give the person the option to make that choice. 20% for breakfast, when it is to go, is a lot! We will never go here again. To be fair, the burritos were good.

We love Camilla’s!!…usually…
They have always been really good about their customer service and also the quality of their food. However if you ever find yourself faced with more than a thirty minute wait (we waited for 45min), my recommendation would be to seek nourishment elsewhere. The potatoes were super oily and still partially raw and because the staff was visibly stressed and overworked, their customer service also suffered. Oh and the kicker, they now add 20% gratuity to EVERY BILL!!! So now they don’t even have to be on their best customer service behavior and they still get tipped more than the average human would tip in the first place! As a customer service worker as well, tips should be viewed as a bonus for work well done. Now your only option is to write a review as you no longer can show them how good or bad they are through tips. My service and quality of food today definitely did not warrant a 20% tip :(

I was unfortunately listening to a work meeting while the rest of my family enjoyed the ambiance, the friendly efficient service and delicious food here. Actually I enjoyed the delicious food too. If you are trying to choose a breakfast spot, this is the one! My chicken fried steak was one of the best on this road trip.
I would only suggest the one thing that marred the enjoyment of the al fresco dining experience was a number of flies that also wanted to join us, which meant my kids kept swatting at me while I was eating.
This little section of Fruita, if you are traveling, has a lot of marvelous statues and artwork within one block.
