Cracker Barrel

To whom this may concern. I hope: I ordered two eggs over easy with toast honey ham grits gravy and the cinnamon apple the only thing that was hot was the apples and the ham was a little bit warmer than room temperature it was good but it would have been so much better if it had been warmer 😒 look at my toast and grits the two scoops of butter wouldn't even melt on the toast or in grits. Had cold eggs they were not over easy as I asked. they were slammed down evidently there was two other people with me also one of them had biscuit and gravy was cold my other guest got a baked potato which came out after everyone else but at least it was hot for them so I went to Virginia got the biggest disappointment in a breakfast I have ever had at a cracker barrel I live in Louisiana and have visited a mini of cracker barrel between Virginia and Louisiana. when I told the waiter he really seemed he did not care and just walked off it sounded like (he said sorry?) but it was very soft and did not completely understand I have the receipt somewhere I wish I could find it so you can get the number and you know who waited but you can see the pictures I was there June 5th approximately 2:00pm I paid with a Visa debit card I know it was almost 2:30pm when we checked out at the register I also bought one of the GoPros for $24.+¢ tax it was right about $90+ For everything. The visit started off nicely. The wait wasn't very long and we ordered prior to being seated which was convenient. When the food arrived the order was missing items and I received bbq sauce with my shrimp. My waitress was attentive and helpful the restaurant itself was clean and beautiful but the food left something to be desired.

I have always enjoyed breakfast at cracker barrel, however this time was not as good as in the past. My breakfast order came out extremely fast and everything arrived cold which leads me to believe everything had been made in advance, grits were watery, order was incorrect, had ordered toast not biscuits and gravy. Received toast immediately which was cold really disappointed with the quality of the food. Also as a side note at 8:00 a.m. on a Tuesday morning there were only two other customers in the restaurant at that time.

This was the most awkward visit here we've ever had... My family and I popped into the Front Royal Cracker Barrel for breakfast, but never made it to a table. The host told us it would be about four minutes until he could seat us because someone had to clean the table. When the manager approached, the host asked him, "Will you please have someone clean the table for these people?" The manager snapped at him that he had "other things" to do, all but rolled his eyes at us, and walked away. My mother saw that most people in the restaurant didn't have food in front of them, so she asked how long the wait would be once we were seated. I guess that was a mistake, because the same manager stormed over and says, "Well were you already seated? It will be thirty minutes once you're actually seated. I have other things to do." Then he stormed off again. It was uncomfortable feeling like an inconvenience, so we left. Hopefully the manager gets all of his "other things" done and his day gets better. Yikes.
