Flower Cafe

I arrive at this excellent place every couple of days because I love the good air that is part of this restaurant. The staff is exceptionally attentive and experienced. The service is absolutely rapid. Needless to say, the food they prepare is first-rate. I have been there more than once and I was always happy. The cost is fair. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

This is my 3rd time ordering from this restaurant....I must say...This is my favorite place to eat. I always have ordered using Uber Eats...only one time was it delayed....but really it was delivered within the time frame given, so not really delayed at all. Great thing about this place....they actually called me to let me know my order may be a few min late. So great and thoughtful of them. Again I'll say.....best freaking pad Thai, best chow mein, best beef broccoli.......best wings. Today I'm trying the fried rice and bhan mi sandwich.....along with the normal order.....so excited to eat that I scheduled this order around 12 for delivery by 6...... Ok sooo....tried the ban mi, and I must say 3000x better than place on shaw/41 Fried rice.....WOWOOWOWOWOOW SO GOOD Everything else wonderful as always

Upon first seeing this place, i never would have stopped here if their food didnt look so great online. There is close to no parking in front, the outside is run down looking. Had no clue the place was so small inside. We made plans to eat in. But its so small its more for take out. We made due with a small table. I ordered the orange chicken with steam rice and shrimp spring rolls. Everything about my food was just Ok. I wish the orange chicken had more chicken instead of breading. The shrimp spring rolls were pretty large and had shrimp, noodles, and lettuce. Ive been so used to the spring rolls having other meat inside and so i was disappointed it didnt have anything else inside. My friend got the $5 lunch special. Her son didnt care for the eggrolls and he liked the pork bbq stick more than the chicken. When we were almost done, i ordered sticky rice to go for my daughter(she loves it) and wanted to surprise her when i got her from school. When i got home and opened the container, my heart dropped. It was regular rice and not sticky. She still was ok, but she says i owe her sticky rice now, lol. In all, this place isnt in the best part of town, far from me, and i likely wont be back. If i happen to be in the area for some reason, i might stop and get sticky rice for my kid, but otherwise i don't see us going back.

*UPDATE 3/25/2019* Out of nowhere Ubereats decides this restaurant is too far for delivery... but I just placed an order today from a restaurant that is EVEN FURTHER from where I live and it isn't marked as too far for delivery!!! They have CLOWNS working at UberEats, doesn't make any sense. I loved the Tom Kuang Nai from here but can't order it via Ubereats anymore 😥 -----Original Review----- I normally order Kao Piek and Papaya Salad and was always scared to buy and try the Tom Kuang Nai because I thought it wasn't going to taste good, but I just ordered it via UberEats and asked for it to be extra bitter, aaaand.... IT'S REALLY GOOD!!! Guess I'll be ordering this a lot more now! You should give it a try if you enjoy bitter soup.
