Located inside Piccadilly. Food was ok. Very cultured. The pricing was awesome though! We got like 6 different dishes and it was only $40. We were stuffed! Our bartender/waitress was really cool. Small inside seating but large outdoor patio area:) Modern decor is nice. Doesn't feel like you are in Fresno. I suggest you come try this place out:)

Start to finish we had a great experience at Mochuelo. The food is full of classic tapas along with some inventive choices. I can’t wait to go back and try the items I didn’t get to try. The person behind the bar took our orders and took care of us, she was fantastic!

We had topas and drinks. These are small finger-sharable dishes. We ate 2 savory dishes and 2 sweet dishes. They were delicious. It's definitely some place I'll go back with friends to sit in chat and have finger food. We were full-on the 4 small dishes that we had. Friendly service and a very nice environment. Give it a try.

Had a lovely dinner, drinks, and desert! Friendly staff and delicious small plates. Wish that more places did tapas, sometimes you don't need a giant meal to end the night, you know? Highly reccomend this place for a late dinner.

Stopped by to meet some friends for drinks and apps. Nice quiet place located inside/outside the Piccadilly Inn. They have a pretty vast cocktail list so everyone was able to find something interesting to try. I wish I would have taken some photos of them, sorry for missing them on this one. I'll have to stop by again to do a photo shoot!

I am new to California and ended up in Fresno tonight at the Hotel Piccadilly. After checking in I decided to look for a place to eat but I didn't know that I was so close to a wonderful little gem by the name of Mochuelo. I decided to try the Spanish cuisine restaurant and see if it held up to the great reviews I saw on Google. I was very pleased. The staff was awesome. I had no history in Spanish cuisine. I did not know what tapas were. I foundl that they are individual dishes to share at a table setting. One would say it is almost like family style eating but a notch above. I was by myself and decided to try three different tapas. I had the roasted brussel sprouts, the Moroccan street tacos, and the bacon wrapped dates with almonds inside of them. I also decided to try their sangria on tap. For dessert I had the honey goat cheese panna cotta. I must say every dish was unique and I have never had anything like them. Everything was superb. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. I understand that it has recently been remodeled and it looks very up-to-date and clean. The staff was very helpful and did an outstanding job. If you get a chance try this little gem located inside of the Hotel Piccadilly you will be very happy. Be adventuresome and step outside of the box. You will be rewarded.

So I am knocking one stars off for the service, but the food is amazing. I had a bad experience with a waiter there who came off a nonchalant to my friends and I. Towards the end said waiter even mixed up our receipts and charged the wrong transaction to our debit card. We weren’t mad but I can’t help but say it was an inconvenience. It’s such a shame I won’t be coming back, unless customer service there is properly trained and corrected. The food was good on a scale from 1 to 10, I’d give it a 7/10. The small plates or tapas, are actually pretty big and will fill you right up.

We only had 2 items off the menu. We had the cheese and salami board, it had too many flavors going on in one plate. Sometimes simple is better. And we had the fried calamari, it had harissa in the breading, wasn't too big on that either. We are going again to try other dishes. The service was great though.
