Good eats. Good food. steak was a bit too seasoned. free peanuts and you toss the shells on the floor. salad was really good with much very fresh veggies. really surprising on how fresh they were.
Good to be back home. Wow it's been way to long! Stopped by Logan's for lunch yesterday and all I can say is GOOD JOB guys. Meat temp was spot on, sides where well portioned and for just a few servers on at the time I was well served. Thanks again I will be back soon..
Good Fried Mushrooms. My first visit to this restaurant. I stopped in for a to-go order of the fried mushrooms (a bar food favorite of mine that is hard to find in California.)
The mushrooms were very good, covered in a light batter that was seasoned with black pepper, and accompanied by a nice horseradish dipping sauce.
While waiting I got to observe the operation. Staff looked friendly and attentive (same caliber as a TGIF, Applebees, Chilli's). Music was country and AOR rock, and a little loud, but that made it a good place to take kids since they can be noisy and no one will care. Smells outside and inside were very good, and makes me want to try a actual entree. They had a reasonably priced kids menu. Interior is themed like a Texas BBQ joint; concrete floors, throw peanuts on the floor, etc, etc. No one is going to care if your kids make a mess.
Happy hour from 3-6 and 9-close with 4.99 appetizers at the bar sure look compelling!
Overall, looks good, and I'll be going back again.
Food is good. It's kind of hit or miss on the service, depending on how busy it is.
