“Visited this place very recently,Loved the ambience with good dine inn capacity. Had lunch buffet. Entries were ok, as usual Biryani which was not that great. I felt like vegetarian items were way better than Non veg . It would have more tastier if the entries were more spicy ( that’s what I felt). Loved their vegetarian entries and the final desserts. 4 stars for the ambience itself. Definitely gonna come back. Service was good. Below are some of my clicks from this place , have a look.......

Our group recently visted this place to have dinner after watching a movie. We asked the person in charge about chef special chettinad fish and this dish was a disaster. There was no salt and fish was undercooked and smelled as if it was gone bad. Even their mirchi bhaji was also pretty pretty bad.No taste to it. Their Vijayawada biryani is just okay. We didn’t finish food neither could pack it to take home as it was so bad. I don’t recommend this place at all for having good dinner.

I should have read reviews here before ordering food from this place. I ordered Ambajipetta Mirchi bajji, Gongura Dal with Rice and Tindora fry. This was a pickup order. The order is simple enough and they are quite talented that they screwed this up on multiple levels. Customer Service Issues- 1. They forgot to give me white rice but upon calling offered to deliver it to my home (thank you!) which means I couldn't eat the main course until I got the rice. I waited for a good 10-15 min in the front parking lot from the ETA that I was told. 2. I was told that I would get a dessert as compensation and did not get it, I was okay with that. 3. Then, I get home to finally start eating and I find that instead of Tindora fry, they gave me bhindi fry. I called up and asked , then they informed me that Tindora fry was unavailable so they just packed this. They said they tried to call me to inform me but couldn't reach (obviously huge lie since they were able to contact me for the white rice issue + I was there for picking up the food, could have told me then). Not once did they talk about offering a refund. All they said was sorry. Now about the food- 1. Mirchi bajji- The mirchi bajji was not fried properly, imagine eating bajji batter with chilli. 2. The bindi fry I got felt like it was made at least a few days ago, it was stale and soggy. 3. The Gongura Dal I am not sure actually has gongura in it, it was sour tasting but couldn't spot even a single gongura leaf. Needless to say, I am never going back to this place again. What an epic waste of time and money.

Ok let me start off by saying something good. Their service. They gave us lot of complimentary food for the issue we had. The gravies tasted ok. Now on to the issue. We ordered Raju gari kodi pulao. The pulao we got is not Rajugari kodi pulao. And the chicken is RAW. Not undercooked. Its raw inside close to the bone. Now this is a celebratory lunch and we came here for the google menu items (kobbari annam mamsam kura). Its not there. I doubt its ever there. Then we got a complimentary entree. We ordered eggplant curry this time. Burnt and also very hard to eat. Im surprised to find a restaurant with this bad cooking and jeopardizing my health is still in business. Serving raw food is health hazard and an inexcusable mistake.

The food is below average here. The Veg buffet has good items but are tasteless. Not enough veg appetizers in buffet. The curries lack taste. No Spice. Good Ambience. Dosa items are above average. All over not a great place if you have spicy cravings

Sunday Lunch Buffet Review: Vegetarian Station had Punugulu, Mini samosa, bagara rice (white rice cooked with a bunch if spices), veg biryani, methi gravy, mushroom curry, spinach daal, rasam, sambar and cabbage fry. I tried all the items. I found HAIR in both the samosa crust and the cabbage fry/pakora. Very disappointed about that. The methi gravy is sweetish, the mushroom gravy is very cream and heavy. The cabbage fry is heavily colored with red color and is salty and too much oily. Rasam and punugulu (with peanut chutney) are okay. The only things I liked are spinach daal and sambar, I tried them with bagara rice. The non-vegetarian section had chicken hariyali kebab (which they ran out and did not refill when I went), egg bonda (oily), chicken biryani, shrimp biryani, fish curry, kadai chicken curry, chiken tikka masala. All the biryani rices (veg, chicken and shrim) taste the exact same, except they each had their respective meat/vegetable added to them separately. I haven't found any Shrimp at all in the Shrimp biryani. The chicken curries were not that great and also tasted like north indian curries, defined not south indian style. The fish curry was good but it is also way too oily. They had Kheer, mango fruit salad, bombay halwa as deserts, Kheer and fruit salad were good and the halwa was too sweet and rubbery. Aditionally, they also have sweet lassi, chutneys, raita, pani puri and a fruit at the buffet, the pani puri was hard to self serve as each item was individually left there scattered and confusing. They provide naan if requested, however I didn't try it. Structurally, it is a little hard to reach to the items in the back, their utensils were not very clean, plates were okay but the small bowls are not clean at all and I could see stains from what previous people ate, so I used a plate for my deserts instead of tye bowls. Overall, I would give 2 stars for the food quality as most items didn't feel fresh and taste, however I gave a 1 star because I found hair in 2 different dishes and for the dishes not being clean. There is a real need for a better quality Indian food in bay area.

We recently ordered south Indian food for our house warming function and the food was awesome. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. Medhu vada and bisibelabat were out of the world.
