Wah Jee Wah

Lucked into trying our new neighborhood Indian BBQ restaurant tonight. The kabobs were excellent and seasoned just right and served with well spiced cilantro mint sauce. Lamb, chicken legs, boneless chicken, and smoked cheese all on kabobs. The grilled smoked cheese was killer. The owners were super cool and let us try some delicious puffed stuffed pastry with tamarind sauce and chickpeas. They're open in the evenings and take credit cards. We'll be back for more soon!

I was really looking forward to trying their food. The people were nice and professional. But from the chewy untrimmed fat on the lamb, burned paneer, dry chicken, salty rice and old paratha. The meal was a disappointing. They served me old food. All the food and $31 down the sewer. Oh the mushrooms were ok.

👎 Don’t eat here! We were so excited to try BBQ from this restaurant but first time and we are done! Such a miss representation of Indian grilled food and no flavor what so ever. Store bought naan that are cooked to death on grill. At least a day old (not fresh) rice. Over salted pickled red onions. And no seasoning in grilled paneer or chicken or lamb. -1 rating for ambience. Other than the color Chef is achieving by putting meat on the charcoal grill, everything else is flavor less, shame. We are not eating here ever again.

I used Wah Jee Wah for catering services for a family event & it was phenomenal! Chef Dumra went over the full menu with me beforehand, came to my house 1-2 days before event to do a walk through and made a game plan for set up. Showed up on time for event & appetizers were coming out fresh by the time the first guests started showing up. You don’t get just a food service with him but you and your guest get an experience. You can smell the food cooking fresh the whole time & I received so much positive feedback from the guest regarding how good everything was. Him and his staff were all really friendly & did an amazing job from start to finish. Highly recommended for catering services!
