Icy Blue

Had their rolled ice cream it's okay. It numbed our tongues with a light ice burn feel after eating a large chunk. Their menu needs better descriptions. Had the monkey something, I thought chocolate ice cream and rolled chocolate meant actual chocolate ice cream and a piece of rolled chocolate based on the menu even the poorly lit photos on the wall I saw later looked different from what I got. Turns out to be a tiny smear of nutella worked in that you could hardly taste and Love Letter type rolled cookies. Yes I should've asked but come on. Nutella poorly mixed into an ice cream base is not chocolate ice cream. It makes a difference when they roll 5-6 of their own creations only with a price range of $7-$9. On the bright side they are huge easily shared with 2-3 adults that love sweets.

This place is fantastic! The ice cream is delicious, & the selection of teas & drinks is wonderful! - It can be a bit pricey, depending on what you order, but for a waffle cone with HUGE scoops, it's probably worth it. This was an accidental find while waiting to pick someone up at nearby Ohlone College. - Will most definitely go back to Icy Blue!

More than just an ice cream shop, they also have a good selection of boba while also doing frappes and floats. Their BPA-free pouches for tea drinks are a unique spin on packaging and I believe you can ask to keep them sealed for bringing around (I asked to have mine sealed to bring home for my sister). I come here twice a week between classes at Ohlone just up the hill and it's a very quiet shop if it isn't traffic hours. Do give this shop a try.
