If you love country dancing you will love this place. You will find enthusiastic folks dancing to live country music. During the break some more experienced country dance veterans will eagerly teach you country dance moves. If you are new or don't feel like being on the main dance floor, you can dance in the back on a more cozy dance floor. I had to pay a $3 entry fee and had to order a drink to please the waitress. But that's dead cheap considering how much fun this place is.

Friday night is hopping. Get there when they open so you can take the free line dancing class. For a beginner these classes are too difficult. But who cares as long as you have fun. Just make sure you are looking in the same direction as everyone else and you will be fine.

The security guards wouldn't let me or a friend in based on race. We got out of an Uber (not a party bus) and we're denied entrance as soon as we came up. We even followed the dress code on their website (no hoodies, no track suits, no low hanging jeans, no sleeveless tees, etc). The gals came in knee length modest country western dress, the guys came with jeans and a collard shirt. We were treated like thugs. The security cursed us out and threatened to call the police. We had to call another Uber and wait at the street corner while they kept harassing us. One of them even followed us to the street corner, continuing to curse us out. He picked on my black friend and threatened him. The security guard said my friend came with an open container. He explained that it was an empty solo cup and he had disposed of it across the street respectfully before approaching The Saddle Rack. I told my friend to keep his head cool and snapped a few pictures as we left, bewildered that we had been treated that way. Two gave me their names but one of them pointed to his chest and said "S-E-C-U-R-I-T-Y is all you need to know. That's my name b----". Everyone in our group was sober. Clearly the security guards there were not.

A fun, diverse crowd. The club plays more than merely Country music. 4 bars, food is good. Staff is fun.

Some friends and I attended on a Saturday night. The music was excellent and there were some great dancers in attendance. Nice wooden dance floor for all of your line-dancing needs! Saddle Rack had a great beer selection. The wait staff were friendly and the bathrooms were large and very clean. Going back again soon!

This place was great and the staff was great. A little pricey with there drinks, but the main thing is after 10pm you can't dance around the floor because all the people dancing in one spot. If your there to dance country, keep the floor moving and don't allow the people to stand in one place with drinks on the floor, that messes up good dance boots when people spill drinks on the floor. Bouncers need to keep that from happening, it's a country western bar, not a rave!

I went here for the first time on Friday night, cover charge was $15. When I first arrived there were lots of people line dancing while a DJ was playing county music. Some couples also were swing dancing and two-stepping. At about 10pm a band came and started singing pop songs, it kind of threw me off because this is a "country bar" but it was entertaining. When the band started the country dancers got off the main dance floor to make room for the drunk less coordinated dancers, but I soon realized there was another smaller dance floor where the line dancers were still dancing. There is also a mechanical bull that costs $4 per ride. This place was not entirely what I expected but I had a great time with my friends and I did several line dances.
