Normally I really like this place, but today they charged me $5 to substitute an impossible burger! That's a 50% upcharge! Adding a vegetarian tax is a surefire way to lose customers. I was excited to bring my girlfriend here, but after this she doesn't want to come back and I don't blame her. $1 or even $2 would have been understandable, but this is too much.

Base only on the day we visited and our personal experience.. Place is hot and can't feel air. Service is bad, cashier is sitting in lobby on busy on her phone. Drink station only soft drink no tea or other drink. We order cowboy dog, burger, slider chilli fries. Only the slider taste ok which is size of 1 hawaii bun but cost over $3 My hot dog is a bit cool and odd taste, I can't finish it.

I’ve tried a burger and a hotdog here and both were great, but if I had to choose, I’d go with the dog and using Hawaiian rolls as buns gives it that something else you didn’t know you needed. The tots are also amazing, somehow they were perfectly crispy and that’s how I like them

Great place for a quick bite. Really loved the King's Hawaiian rolls grilled and used as a bun. I ordered the Old Town dog (pictures here) and my husband ordered Das Brat and we split a side of onion rings. Everything was delicious!

The food at Dog Haus is amazing always, our food came quickly and was so creative and delicious. BUT today the star was the Staff, especially Carlita. Even though she was training two people, during a lunch rush, on a holiday, she was still cheerful and helpful. She is an asset to your company! Thank you Carlita!

The food was pretty good albeit a bit heavy I got the Sooo veggie and subbed pickled jalapeños for tomato. My wife got the veggie bratwurst. Both veggie sausages were moist and well cooked. The sauerkraut that they use is a little too vinegary so a little goes a long way. We got tater tots which were good too but a little oily. They have a pretty good beer selection with mostly Bay Area local things. Next time will try the root beer battered corn dog. The staff is REALLY friendly and even though they don’t technically have table service they were not busy and checked up on us multiple times and bussed the table. Nice folks who seem to really care about customers.
