We had never been here before and ordered the chorizo and machacado breakfasts and let me tell you...amazing. The tortillas are home made, the refried beans are seasoned well, the potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the eggs are fluffy and cooked just right, the bacon is fresh and crispy, the salsas are fresh..I loved the green salsa myself it has onion and cilantro in it so good. We even came back 2 days later and brought our family to try it and they loved it too. We will absolutely be back next time we visit Surfside Beach!! Thank you Maria's kitchen!!

The place was pretty good, only gave it a 4 because food was salty. Presentation was awesome. and tortillas are good. They get busy so have patience. But worth the food.

Went here for breakfast with the fam and it was delicious! Great service and even better food. We’re in Surfside for vacation and this place is for sure one we’ll keep coming back to anytime we’re down here! Thank you!

I never usually in Freeport unless I'm at the beach googled a place for breakfast tacos and decided to try here. The tacos were really good. I wish I could go more often just for breakfast. Everything looked so good. Unfortunately pearland has no good breakfast taco places.
I Will come again of I am in the area.

This restaurant has been a round while in Freeport, but since it's a little out of our way, when I do visit home (Clute) I don't go there often when I visit. In fact, it's been several years since I've been there. After our long road trip we woke up the next morning and came here for breakfast. My dad and brothers come here regularly because they live in the Richwood and Lake Jackson area, and like the food. My dad especially likes the green sauce. Our waitress was extremely kind and took our orders quickly, filled our coffee regularly, and made sure we had more than enough green sauce for our food. The food came out quickly and was very good. I ordered the Hippo in a bowl (no tortilla). Very tasty, and the green sauce was just the right amount of heat to it. It's a very clean restaurant with plenty of seating, and I would highly recommend it.

Every thing was great at this place, starting with the food, service, atmosphere and the price. I'd go back again, the next time I'm going to have to try something new. I had the mole when I went this time.
