Good tasting coffee here. Umbria coffee tastes great. They are not stingy with the coffee either. Lots of taste and price is good. Probably one of the very best espresso drive throughs on Whidby Island. Friendly and organized Baristas, too. Get you in and out quickly back on the .road
As far as drive through places go, this place is 5 star. Efficient friendly service with an expansive coffee drink and light snack menu.
Scott and I love this place! Caffé Umbria is my favorite coffee, and Heather, Brianna and staff are always friendly and make excellent espresso drinks. Seriously the best espresso on the island!
Best espresso on the island. Love Caffé Umbria! Tasty shots and wonderful flavored drinks, staff know what they’re doing, Heather is the BEST barista! A bit tucked away, but don’t worry, just follow the line of cars headed there! 🙂 There’s a reason they have a loyal following!
I've been getting my espresso drinks daily from Southern Cross for 12 years. Their coffee is always fresh and delicious (the best I've found on or off Island) and the wonderful baristas are a team of good souls I consider a local treasure.
