This is a great little spot for lunch. The service was super friendly and prompt. The food was made fresh and delicious. You should definitely stop in if you're in the area.

We took the road less traveled for lunch and ended up in Fredonia KS. My wife asked what do you want to do for lunch and I said, "I want to sit down at a lunch counter somewhere downtown and chat with the guy cooking my burger"
As soon as we walked in I knew we were in the right place. Rory, the owner, knows everyone who walks in and anticipates their orders. We had an excellent hot ham and cheese sandwich and lemonade for 10 bucks. I made the introductions so I wouldn't be the only one not on a first name basis. Rory, it turns out used to live on Oahu and body surfs, that explains the picture of The Wedge hanging on the wall. Nice guy, good food. If you find yourself close to Fredonia don't miss The Downtown Grill.
