The food was great and the service spot on. I loved the ambience, especially the bar! I hope they can reopen, we do miss you! To everyone putting 1 star reviews because they are closed, shame on you!

Great service, thanks Debbie. Called ahead and they said no wait right now, and upon arrival was seated immediately. Drinks and food were awesome! Loved the schnitzel and rib-eye steak. Beautiful restaurant with a European feel. Casual dress but can dress up. Mood lighting with candles on the table. Would be a great date night or family meal.

This place was the cherry on top from a last minute family christmas trip. The beer selection was solid, but what sold it was the bartender's recommendation. Always trust blunt staff quick recommendations! We enjoyed a meal too, my family was pleased and were given a great experience. Worth a stop if you're in the area!

We have frequented this restaurant for decades. We live out of town, but eat here every time we visit Fredericksburg. Food is very good and service is outstanding. I love the Jager Schnitzel, Spaetzle, red cabbage and dark bread. The bar is absolutely beautiful and their beer options are sure to please.

This is a great German restaurant with great food & drinks & service
. We recently drove by to take advantage of their wonderful food, but alas, it is closed temporarily for remodeling. Hope it opens up before Octoberfest! Try it, you will love it.

This place has been a family favorite for years. My wife went to Fredericksburg last weekend for a quick, fun getaway and, after some shopping, we decided to swing by and have an early dinner. However, when we arrived, the parking lot was empty and construction materials in the parking lot. The sign on the door said the restaurant was closed “indefinitely” due to fire and water damage. We were bummed but we’ll be back as soon as they re-open.

One of the best German inspired restaurants very authentic. It smelled amazing right as we walked in, the staff was very nice and welcoming! We didn’t stay at the hotel we just ate dinner. The service was quick, and everything was cooked perfectly, if you are in town definitely try out this restaurant!
