Grapevine Cafe

We were the only ones there on a week night. Waitress did not know wines that were available for Happy Hour. Greek salad was ok. Thai sauce for calamari was weird. Not much flavor. Would have preferred regular cocktail sauce. We ordered gyros plates. It was served without the fries that should have been included. There are many interesting items on the dinner menu that might be worth trying. Prices seemed reasonable.

Bottom line up front: Save your money and time and go somewhere else. The food isn’t the best. The seats slide when you sit in the booth. I came for a party Saturday, April 27th and left a card on tab. I forgot and left without my card (not faulting the establishment). I went by Sunday to pick up it up, the doors were closed and locked. Apparently they’re not open on Sundays. The hours on the door of the restaurant and posted online say 4 pm - 9 pm Monday - Saturday, so I came back Monday, April 29th to get my card around 7 pm and lo and behold, the doors were locked again. I called, no answer. It is now Tuesday, instead of going again, I call ahead of time and ask about my card being there. Luckily I got through this time, but only to be told that my card isn’t there even though I know it is. I never got my card back from being on tab. If you go here, make sure you get your card back because if not, it’s theirs.

Atmosphere was good but i sat at the bar just now for about 10-15 min and the female bartender didnt say one word to me or approch me. Now i understand you can get busy and a lil overwhelmed but that does not mean you get an attitude about your job and get on your phone instead of helping customers. Sorry but i was a bartender in las vegas and i know how crazy the job can be.
