I’ve always enjoyed the fried skrimp and whiting fish here! It’s delicious. The spicy po boy sauce adds a nice flavor. My boyfriend got the blackened mahi and it was pretty good!

I believe these reviews can be based off of employees as well. First time here, week night, the young lady is the only cook and I'm already smelling burnt food. She does not seem like she cares at all. Food though looks decent. Cold food, greens were very cold. Hush puppies were the only hot item.

Timing of our visit was mid afternoon and despite there only being one other customer it was so bad we tried to cancel our order, get a refund, and get out. Shortages due to the pandemic aren't their fault but flaking paint from the ceiling, puddle on the floor, a drink machine that doesn't work are problems they can fix. After paying $20 for a fish sandwich combo plus extra drink we were told it would be 10 minutes more. In lieu giving us drinks we paid for or let us leave they offered us a free dessert. Nice staff without the support from management but that's not our fault. Food is good when it finally arrives

The delicious food was just half of my amazing experience. The fries are A1 and everything els tasted fresh and well seasoned. The customer service was even better! The gentle giant they had working the counter was extremely nice and very helpful when I needed more sauce bless his chubby little soul. Will definitely be coming back 🍤🍤🍤

Oh yeah, this place is worth a try! If you ever have a taste for some good fried seafood, try the whiting dinner platter with hush puppies! Family loved the skrimp dinners. Recommend this for friendly service bringing hot food quickly.

Today's experience wasn't the best. There was a whole new staff today so maybe they are still working out the kinks for a smoother process in the future however today was extremely disappointing. When I walk through the doors and saw a cashier at the register, she immediately looks down at her phone and walks off to the right for a few minutes. I had to ask someone who was bagging of orders a question about their current specials after standing there for several minutes waiting for help. The macaroni could use a little more consistency some days it's burnt and dried out, other days is extremely watery and mushy. I do appreciate the young gentleman that helped me, as well as the normal cashier (who wasn't here today) with the fro and glasses they both display great customer service.

Was excited to order some food from here today. Tried calling multiple times with no answer. Decided to make a trip down to order in person, the doors were locked and employees were walking around inside on their personal phones 45 minutes after their advertised opening time.

We were in the area and remember seeing the article in the newspaper about Skrimp Shack so we decided to give it a try. Great addition to the Massaponax area and Cosner Corner. Very casual laid back dining environment that has a beach vibe. Ordering takes place at the counter and delivered to your table. We found plenty of space for our party of 8 and they seemed to be doing a great take out business. Food was good and decent quantity. Catfish was lightly battered and fried. Shrimp was tasty and came grilled and fried, we had both. For non seafood folk they had a chicken sandwich basket. Lots of options for sides including regular and sweet potato fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, Mac & cheese and of course greens ( which were cooked in bacon). Only disappointment for me was what I ordered which was a sample platter with fish, shrimp, crab cake, fried oysters and sides. Food was good but didn’t really look like picture or worth $21.00. Customer Service was good and food came out fast. Definitely will be trying Skrimp Shack again.
