Where do I begin? Omg. This deserves 10 stars. We finished off my sons 13th birthday celebration here. The miso soup and the salad was the freshest one I've ever had. From anywhere! I nearly lost my mind and my son ordered 2 of them. We had the kendo meal for 2 with the lobster, Tokyo shrimp and filot mignon. Cooked to damn perfection!!! Excuse my language but this was an explosion of taste and flavor. Our chef was great. And the food exquisite. I only found this place bc of a persistent Google search. I'm in love. If you see this review.... GO EAT THERE NOW!!

Having the hardest time figuring out how everyone else received such excellent service. Went for a birthday dinner, our chef was little to no excitement, the food was bland, and the vegetables hadn’t been fully cooked they were equivalent to taking vegetables cutting them up, putting them in oil/butter (whatever they use) and then warming them up in the microwave. The best part of my entire dinner was the soup. The salad was watery, and the actual meal itself was a flop, the rice was hard, the vegetables were hard and the table itself was such a fire hazard, it had burns along it. The chef did little to no tricks other than a big fire, and an onion volcano. The pricing seemed high for the quality of the food. The waiter was nice, and provided good service. The fountain drinks were fresh, crisp and flavorful but everything else was disappointing. I wouldn’t go here again nor recommend it but if it were put in front of me as a meal and there were no other options I’d eat it. All in all if you want a good waiter, greasy food, with no seasoning and hard rice and vegetables this is your spot. Lastly cleanliness is 2.5/5, the chef did clean in between each cooking period, but that was about it. Table was dirty, plates were not thoroughly cleaned, napkins had stains, burn marks along table, grill left with rice/other things on siding, and floors were dirty. It was also very sticky and thick inside as if you walk into an all smoking section with soda spilled in the floor from years and years of traffic. I think our chef had a rough day, and was just ready to go. Really wish I could have a better review or experience. I will update if I ever go back.

The best in town. I went somewhere else and they put so much soy sauce, I couldn’t eat my meal. It was too salty. I asked Chef Abraham what is it that the food at Otani doesn’t taste salty. He said “it’s out teriyaki sauce, we don’t use much soy, we use our own home made teriyaki” I totally recommend this place. If you come, ask for Chef Abraham. He is great!

My husband and I had a great experience here. We got the filet and scallops and they were perfectly cooked (medium and medium rare). The scallops were creamy and not tough at all. The fried rice was really good, chef was personable and entertaining, waiter was attentive, I have no complaints. We'll definitely be back.

I took my daughter here for her 25th birthday. I called ahead to reserve a table for 7 people just in case it was busy. The restaurant was easy to find and had ample parking. When entering the restaurant, there is a sign stating masks required while waiting to be seated. Not everyone had masks in our party but the staff did not say anything since we were seated right away. There were about 4 other parties there so the restaurant was not crowded. Because the food is cooked right in front of you, it can get a little warm at the table. The staff provides fans in addition to the air conditioning so it was quite comfortable. The menu selection includes a good variety. I chose the shrimp, steak, and chicken with fried rice. While the chef is setting up, we were served drinks, soups and salad. The salad is very basic (lettuce and dressing) but tasty. The soup was good as well. Not too filling so I thought I would have plenty of room for the rice and main entree. The chef was very friendly and put on a great show. He asked if we were there for a special occasion and we let him know it was out daughter's 25th birthday. He had us all sing happy Birthday and gave special attention to our daughter which was a really nice touch on top of the great show and fabulous meal. Some of our party elected for noodles and the rest had fried rice. The chef cooked it right in front of us, giving a great show at the same time. I tried the noodles from my wife's plate and they tasted great. The fried rice was fantastic and the serving size was huge. Next came the shrimp and steak which both tasted fantastic. We each had a separate bowl of teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce for dipping. The yum yum paired great with the shrimp and the teriyaki sesame sauce was great with the steak. Next came the chicken and it was cooked perfectly. All of the meat was chopped and cooked just right. I dont usually leave a restaurant with leftovers from my own plate but there was so much food, I couldn't eat it all, which was a good thing because it made a great meal the next day. Everyone was extremely satisfied with the service, quality of food, cleanliness of the establishment, and service provided by our server. I will definitely be returning again to try some other items on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here with my son and we both really enjoyed the food and service. We both got the steak and chicken and everything was cooked to perfection. The chef put on a good show and was very entertaining. The server was spot on with refills. Definitely will be going back.

Been here three times within the last two months and twice the chefs have ignored my one in person and one take out request for no egg in the rice. Food is great otherwise but 70 bucks for two people to eat and you can't get the no egg part right? Will not be back.

Good food. Prices have increased but $5 for a soda?? I miss the sherbert they used to serve at the end. Good service and we had a very entertaining person cooking our food. The place could use a little updating as well.
