Very deceptive website concerning amenities and availability of staff. We stayed here two nights but we were never informed that we would not receive any housekeeping services or that there would be no person on site or available at night in the event of a problem. When we contacted the owner, he neither apologized nor seemed concerned about the lack of both. He claimed the lack of housekeeping was because of Covid, which was simply an excuse to not provide a full service bed and breakfast experience even though we were charged the full price. The website for the Kenmore Inn should have made the unavailability of these services very clear. If they had done so, we would have made alternative accommodation plans. Plus, if the lack of amenities was due to concerns about Covid, as was claimed, why weren’t the staff wearing masks?

Lovely historic inn with delicious breakfast. Staff were super nice. It's walkable to restaurants, shops and points of interest. Too bad the restaurant and pub are no longer in service.

Visited the Kenmore Inn last weekend and could not have been more pleased. Arriving 30 minutes before they closed for brunch, the staff could not have been more gracious, friendly and accommodating. The crab dip was absolutely delicious so anyone who thinks you cannot get excellent crab dip outside of Maryland needs to come here. It was accompanied by a pita like chip and was just perfection. My omelette was perfect as well! While waiting for the food to arrive we chatted with our excellent and wonderfully friendly server Rhonda, met the manager and toured the beautiful rooms. This Inn is a treasure and we will definitely come back!

My wife and I had our wedding at the Kenmore Inn on Saturday December 12th and it was the most special day of our lives! The Kenmore is such a beautiful place to have a wedding and the staff was so helpful and truly went out of their way to make our wedding day so special! I would recommend the Kenmore Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful venue to have a wedding!

Service was good, food very small servings, so much so, you would think that the entree was the appetizer , sting beans seriously under cooked ? Food wasn't anything to write home about. Not a happy camper, but the manager very professional sat and listened to our thoughts. I explained to her the tremendous difference between the Alpine Chef & the Kenmore Inn. She wrote off the meal $ , which under the circumstances was the correct thing to do. It was our first time there and because of the managers fairness I will try it again.

Food was ok, however, basic items such as hot tea were not available. Coffee sweetener had to be requested as it wasn't available-what was brought out was not sufficient for the number of patrons. It may have been enough for a table. The water in the ladies bathroom sink did not work...this is horrible during a global pandemic. I would have thought the health dept would not allow food service to take place when people can't wash after using the restroom.

Very cute Bed and Breakfast in Fredericksburg. It was clean, INCREDIBLE shower, good coffee provided in the morning, and a nice southern hospitality vibe all around. Absolutely recommended

Beautiful place! Small bedrooms if you stay, but very nice and full of history. Lovely for smaller weddings. Food was very good and happy hour specials Monday thru Friday. Try the Brussels sprouts that was my favorite.
