Stopped by while riding my bike in the area. Server was super friendly, got me a clean table in one minute. Food was also very good. Big home made burger, cooked to order just right.
The coffee mug was the star today: look how cool that thing is!
I wish Amy's Cafe was closer to home. Great place overall!

Still trying out new spots in FXBG, VA. This spot like many others is having a hard time with staffing. We waited 20 minutes due to this which wasn't an issue since we were not in a hurry. The food was okay but probably not worth a second visit for us. The onion rings were cooked perfectly but the rest was just okay. The coffee wasn't bad but definitely from a bulk can (I drink it black). Also, my wife didn't get her soup she ordered but they were kind enough to take it off the bill. On to the next place.

We were driving by and we were hungry so we said what the heck, turned around and fooled around and had a excellent breakfast. Food is only half the experience, Betty our server was beyond excellent! I think she reads minds because she was Betty on the spot!
As for the food it was great, cooked to perfection and had excellent flavor ! The portions were about right for the price.
If you can't tell from my review I had a excellent experience! My hat is off to Betty for her excellent service!

Wife and I had lunch there. Prices where food country fried steak and tacos where delicious. Ordered loaded potato skins and I’d order them again. Nice outdoor seating.

Great food with friendly service. Has excellent potato skins. Crab dip and crab cakes have tomatoes in them, good but not great for people who can't eat them. Country fried steak is excellent. Mashed potatoes are okay. Great overall food. Only issue is that our server was not as attentive when we went on a Tuesday night. Recommended for most occasions.

Betty & Christina went above and beyond to make sure our daughters wedding reception was perfect. These ladies always made sure Rick and I and our Guests had everything needed. Betty went out of her way to meet with Rick and I to make sure the reception went smoothly and it did. Food was Fabulous, the cocktails awesome and a lot of dancing by everyone. Again Thankyou Betty & Christina Amy’s Cafe is the Best

Nice little spot. Old renovated building with a small outside patio with seating. Food was decent and service was good. Prices were fair. Small parking lot but I think there was extra parking across the street. They have live music here in the evening. They do serve alcohol. I had a bloody Mary with breakfast that was pretty good. There looked to be some art from local artists displayed on the walls that I believe was for sale if you're interested. If you're looking for a out of the way local spot, this is worth checking out.
