Jerk N' Jive

This is without a doubt some of the best food I’ve ever had. I love Jamaican food so I always try restaurants around the area and this one is my fave between MD, VA and WV. The greens make me never wanna eat regular food again!! Haha SOOOO yummy!! Both gentleman working were sweet as can be. The portions are quite large and the food is made quickly and hot. Packaged well. Definitely recommend!!

Amazing! I was looking for a black owned business to support & a friend in the area recommended Jerk & Jive East location since we were going to be grabbing it to go. I called ahead, received great customer service (Zion I believe answered the phone) The order was ready when we got there I was able to pay quickly. Each meal was individually cling wrapped so none of the juices leaked. It was flavorful & I'd go back often if I lived near by. **We had the Brown Stew Chicken. This location is my favorite place to eat. This visit I had the spicy jerk chicken sandwich, collard greens, mac and cheese, and a spicy beef patty. And the obligatory rice and beans with curry gravy. The chicken is always marinated to perfection, tender and juicy. Sauce is amazing. Mac and cheese is always homemade and delicious. The crust on the patties are flaky yet firm. I've never had a bad thing at Jerk and Jive. The curried goat is probably my most ordered dish. The owner is always welcoming, friendly, and courteous. He loves what he does, and it shows. Their alternative location is a very different atmosphere, but food still holds up

Today I ordered lunch from work for me and a friend. The delivery was fast but to find out they didn't bring my rice and peas nor my machine n cheese. I was so disappointed and called to let them know. The lady(I didn't get her name)who answered apologized all over her self and even for the employee who made the mistake. She offered to bring me the missing items and then offered me a whole dinner. She personally delivered me a curry chicken meal again in a very timely manner. I appreciate customer service like this and will be ordering again in the future!! Thank you miss for making it right and for your sincere apologies!!

First time trying this place and I'm glad I did. I ordered the goat dinner portion with white rice, which comes with 2 sides. Collard greens and veggies. Also ordered mild beef and curry chicken patties. The food was tasty and delicious. If you in the area, definitely recommend swinging by this place, won't be disappointed. 😊😋
