Really enjoyed the atmosphere here! I got the chicken Texas brisket and ribs. They were really tasty... maybe a bit dry... but were all in all tasty.
Potato salad and coleslaw was on point!
My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and greens!
I got a little bite of the sandwich...lol was really good. The greens were bangin!!!
Let me tell ya the girl serving us can make a terrific Bloody Mary!!! WOWZA!!! Wish I could remember her name! She did a really good job!

Told the guy at the counter that it was our first time ordering from them and he explained all the different BBQ sauces and gave us plenty to take home as well. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs and the kids shared a brisket sandwich with all the fixings. The ribs were pretty good. I enjoyed the dry rub on it-sweet and smoky. Loved it, would definitely order again if we're craving for some ribs 🙂 FB group recommended them as well so I had to try them, you all did not disappoint! Keep up the good work!

Great food and excellent service! We started with the chili appetizer, AMAZING. Then went into main dishes were all great. Brisket, wings, all, DELICIOUS! Wonderful place, highly recommend.

Glad we found his place as we drove through the area. Our server Bradley had a good sense of humor. The meats were good. Dry rub ribs had good flavor, but enhanced with the sauce. The sauce also enhanced the Arkansas brisket. And the Triple Mofo was very good. The sides were sides.

First time here. Our family had the two meat plate of brisket, pork shoulder, baked beans, corn bread, half chicken plate with Mac/cheese, cheeseburger plate, and a salad with pulled chicken. Portion sizes were small and the food was average. Not impressed. BBQ is my first love just not Black Hog.

Black Hog BBQ is located in a really cool location in downtown Frederick. Parking? They have a parking lot so there is a good chance you don't have to park on the street. Inside, the place is clean and we were greeted right away. We tried the Arkansas BBQ which was a delicious meal. The southern greens were p-e-r-f-e-c-t (we recommend). The Carolina Pork sandwich (with coleslaw on top) was yummy and there is plenty of sandwich. The fries were excellent. Service was excellent... Music was good. Outside seating and inside. Take-away orders as well. Really good!
