First time at the cafe. The employee (owner?)provided me with options of coffe and treats they have. She was welcoming. I was taken back because she was heartfelt and didn’t appear she was just there to work. You don’t see this too often anymore. People of various ages were playing chess and locals were having coffee. There was a man singing and playing guitar. His voice was so peaceful! My Nutella Mocha Latte was delicious. I had been wanting to stop here for a while and glad I did. I live a half hour away but this is a place where it would be worth the drive for the atmosphere and customer service.

My Mother and I stopped during Franklin On Ice. Friendly staff, fast service, Apple turnover was delicious, as well as the Earl Gray Tea and White Chocolate Moca Latte we had.
I was pleasantly greeted by two gorgeous young gentlemen, one the barista, the other parking enforcement (i was sure to leave before him - ha!ha!)
Gladly had my almond/whole milk iced mocha whipped up in a few minutes, my odd request was even met with a "Hey, that sounds good!" instead of the usual annoyed glance.
Huge smiles and departing words from the barista...
From the Bossa Nova coffee shop we say: "Explore the world!"
Let's go.
My husband and I love to have our coffee dates at a variety of coffee houses around the city. We decided to change things up and take a half tank trip (four hours round trip) to Franklin, PA. We visited a very charming and cozy coffee shop called Bossa Nova Coffee Roastery.
The store was tidy inside and outside, but could use some improvements in aesthetics (i.e. revive or remove dying plants, clean carpeting, paint underneath mirror in restroom).
As for the coffee, I was unable to order a decaf coffee during our visit, but was able to order a smooth light coffee as an alternative. It was Delish, just wished it was extra hot as ordered.
Our visit lasted a few hours. We enjoyed ourselves with fantastic coffee, staff, and customers who were all pleasantly welcoming. Despite the aesthetics and the availability of decaf coffee, the Bossa Nova visit was still well worth the four hour round trip.
Nice coffeehouse in the small quaint downtown of Franklin Pa. Gabriella the owner/barista was great and also made a great latte. This was my first visit but but will definitely be returning. I was made to feel like one of the family, so much so that a fellow patron even purchased my drink for me. I look forward to returning to try the pastries and even enjoying the live music.
Thank you again to the lady that bought me the coffee and if you read this your kindness was definitely appreciated.
This roastery place is Franklin, Pennsylvania. We stumbled upon this yummy cafe after our bike-ride. While we walked in there was some donated mugs you could snatch up to have your coffee in. A community used cafe where you can read, study, or tutor the youngins' while you slurp the caffeine or chamomile! We enjoyed reading the local newspaper!
Love visiting here when I’m in town! Lovely barista this morning who was welcoming and sweet! My go to drink is a caramel latte and bossa nova’s didn’t disappoint!
It was a delight! The proprietor also very nice, and the meet and greet time with the Police was very casual! The drinks were tasty!
Great coffee, and they let us bring our dog inside and great coffee.
Cute little coffee shop. Coffee was tasty and menu was extensive. Many milk and milk alternative options. Barista was friendly and attentive. Comfortable couches and chairs to lounge in. Nice place to stop when passing through town. Only downside was the limited parking.
