Bamboo House

The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but the service and staff are terrible. I went here a year or two ago and I still can’t shake the experience from me. We had a beer across the street at the Irish pub and walked in there to get some food and a drink. We were smiling and so happy to be there just enjoying a Saturday afternoon, that I ordered one of their beers and an appetizer. the wait staff looked at my husband and I and said “I can smell the alcohol on your breath, we aren’t serving you.” And we were shocked. We each got a bud light across the street and felt so disrespected to be treated like that when trying to support small. We left and didn’t look back. 2 years later and I’m still disgusted every time we walk or drive by. Never again.

absolutely the best Chinese food in the area!! Always tastes fresh. I know they have a small staff so I've never ordered delivery. I always do take out and before covid would dine in. Very fast service and friendly staff. Delicious beef and chicken teriyaki and my daughter loves the vegetable chow mein. Edit: Bamboo house really is by far the best chinese food in this area. I tried a couple other places because I wasnt in Franklin, and next time I'll make the drive to franklin for bamboo house because it's just so much better than everywhere else I have ever been.

Not sure what happened to this place but it has declined badly over the years. We ordered take out from here and it was disgusting. The prices are outrageous and the fried rice and lo mein tasted like it was old and had been sitting around for a while which it probably had. The chicken wings in the Pu Pu Platter were fried together and I question if it was actual chicken. The chicken fingers were overcooked and dry and too crunchy. The entire take out order was a waste of time and money and was a nasty mess. Don't waste your money here, I have come to the conclusion there is no good Chinese around this area except for House of Fortune in Plainville.
