Delicious chicken sandwiches. I like their burgers, as well, but the store in Franklin at the Cool Springs Galleria tends to over cook the meat. I have heard others complain about that as well. Fried pickles and onion rings are good. I don't buy tea there because it tends to be weak. Unfortunately, the other store in Franklin closed and the one in Brentwood reduced their hours. After being closed for two years, I heard this location in Cool Springs finally reopened. Went there on Sunday afternoon and they were closed. Called today to see if they had reopened and talked to the manager who answered the phone. This is what she told me. They reopened in August, but she only has ONE employee and because they are short-staffed their hours "vary." She said Monday-Thursday they are usually open until 6:00. WTH?? She went on to say that on Fridays and Saturdays they close at 7:00. They are closed on Sundays because "she needs a day off." She said that these hours vary because sometimes she doesn't have anyone to work. FFS. I'm never eating there. What restaurant closes at DINNER TIME?!?! You can just imagine the quality of the food you would receive at this completely mismanaged and unorganized restaurant. Consider yourselves warned.

Cold food now fresh. I was surprised because it is usually really good. Considering I order a Black Bean Burger you would think that would fresh. Very disappointed.

I really liked the Oreo milkshake and the straw is actually wide enough to drink it! I have never seen such a massive straw, to be honest. I shared the milkshake and a chipotle BBQ burger with bacon with my 9-year-old son and we had a great evening. Cool music overhead too.

First time I had been to Back Yard Burger in a couple of years. I was surprised by how their prices had gone up since I was last there. I ordered the classic hamburger and was very disappointed, it was very dry, however my husband had the fried mushroom Swiss burger and he thought it was good.
