We were on our way home from vacation and stopped by to pick up lunch and dinner to go. We ordered: 2 BBQ Mixed plates, Chicken Katsu plate and Curry Chicken Katsu plate. Also an order of Ahi shoyu poke and Ahi spicy poke. Everything was very fresh and tasted just like it did back home in Hawaii. I highly recommend this place!

Do not know why we have not been before. We shared some of the best fish tacos we have ever eaten and an outstanding beef-rice bowl. Highly recommend. Will be on our go-to list. 😍

What a charming little place. Other than a certain football player, I wasn't aware of a Hawaiian community in NashVegas. But the folks we've seen dining here prove there is and since they know more about that cuisine than I do, I must assume it's pretty authentic. No matter, I just know it's pretty darn good. We've been sticking to the rice bowls and find them just the ticket. There are different meat options, and they come with some vegetables and a couple of sauces are available too. I like the pork very much. It's moist, tender and sweet. Their Hawaiian BBQ sauce works well with it. They have some interesting sides, but so far, I've only had kimchi. It's got a nice tang and some spice and makes a good addition to the rice bowl. They also have plates, and the fried chicken (katsu) is a favorite of Herself. Plates come with a scoop of rice and one of macaroni salad. (Traditional in Hawaii, but the macaroni is pretty plain with just mayo and not my thing.) They have something called "bilgogi fries" that are a plate of french fries smothered with beef, sauces and green onions that looks great. That's for next time. While it's a small place, it's spotless clean and the folks there are very friendly and helpful with questions. This is a really nice change of pace and a spot we'll come back to without hesitation.
When Dan and I were at Tupelo Honey Cafe for their soft opening, I noticed a new-to-me restaurant nearby... L&L Hawaiian Grill. Um, what?! Apparently it opened this summer, and I had no idea that I could get Spam musubi within the state of Tennessee, let alone down the street from where I work!
Delicious Hawaiian food. The portions are absolutely ginormous. It is nice to have a taste of some pretty authentic Hawaiian flavors this far from California and Hawaii. The spam musubi is always good and the bulgogi fries are dangerously delicious. I hope this location remains because Nashville is much cheaper to get to than the West coast.
One of the best burgers I've had in a while. "The Big Kahuna" is now one of my favorite burgers in Coolsprings. It even has pineapple! Really adds a good taste to the TWO patties this amazing burger has on it. I definitely recommend trying this place out! Best part? It's only $10 and change 😁😁😁
Loved it! Food was excellent and my husband said they nailed it! He's eaten at the L&L's in Hawaii!!! Atmosphere was great as well!!!
Best bbq I have ever had in the US. I am not a fan of the "Southern" style bbq and being in Tennessee it is a little bit hard to find a bbq place that isn't like that. We will definitely come back here, wish we had discovered it sooner! Service was friendly, fast and efficient.
I wish I found them earlier, just recently visited this place and have been going often since then. Love their fresh tasting food and the owner is very informative and she gives great suggestions on good choices and takes care you get good experience... Cheers!
