What a treat to enjoy dinner here!
This restaurant is truly worthy of 5 stars.
From the enthusiastic immediate greeting and seating at a beautiful table to the quick delivery of crispy pappadum with a tray of four exquisitely prepared relish toppings. All mgrs and waiters were on full attention and working smoothly as a team to make sure all tables were being taken care of.
Our waiter was patient and helpful in our spice level selection for the butter chicken and lamb madras. It was so perfect, tender, and flavorful....and Abundant! We were so full.
And then they brought out the complimentary chilled rice pudding ramekins!
Everyone we saw eating there was having a great experience.
Such a perfect dinner.
Bahut achchha!!!
My family and I frequent this place for dinner and just also tried the buffet recently. It is absolutely the best Punjabi restaurant food in Middle TN with the best flavors and extra spice that you can add yourself if you like that. It’s not too greasy or salty at all. We also eat gluten free and vegan, which they gladly accommodate. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They recognize us when we come in and remember our preferences, making us feel like family with them. Nice ambiance. The best of everything. We love to return again and again.
Absolutely wonderful experience! House of India has the best customer service there is! They are friendly, informative, and adaptive - nothing more you could want in a restaurant experience. They went above and beyond to accommodate allergies, even making a special dairy free dish so I could still order my favorite menu item! They are incredibly kind and hard working. The food is the best of the best! You won't regret your visit. :)
We had a large party with several allergies. Our servers were kind and accommodating for a large, tough crowd of different allergies. The food was excellent. If you are unsure what to get, just ask for recommendations, they are so nice. My parents have been to India and bonded with the server over descriptions of their visit to the pink city, since he had not been able to visit it yet. I am excited to come to the lunch buffet so I can sample more of their great cuisine and broaden my knowledge of Indian food.
I'm not even finished with my meal yet, but this is so good I have to say something right now!!!
The salad is fresh diced crisp veggies that are perfectly spiced.
The (fried) chicken pakora (tenders) that we ordered for our toddler were so tender and juicy that they beat most of the hot chicken places we've tried in Nashville.
The Mulligatawny soup tastes like they roasted the lentils, then pureed them, and then frothed them...it is like having a latte. It is incredible - warm, smooth, and the perfect amount of saltiness.
So, SO YUM!! After looking for a really stellar Indian Restaurant for a while, we found it!!! My husband is gluten free (celiac) and had no problems - they had great options! This family run restaurant is a gem!! Oh! And, at Sanaa in D*sney World they make this amazing toasted (fried) paneer tomato soup - the tomato soup here is even BETTER! Can't wait to come back!
