It is definitely a place that deserves more than 5 stars with its peaceful atmosphere, delicious food that has never been tried before, very helpful and friendly staff. 3 hour drive but definitely worth it for me

Loved the service here. Multiple cuisines. Very friendly staff. We took an hour long detour just to visit this spot, but we were running late and requested the staff to keep it open after closing hours. They honored our request with a smile. Would love to visit again. Keep up the good work. We need more places like this.

One of the best meal experiences we had. We saw a documentary about the restaurant on YouTube and came to try their Turkish menu. It was a really long drive but worth it. Restaurant has great ambiance. We set outside and it is surrounded by greenery and a beautiful big tree. All other people eating their were looking peaceful and happy. I guess Sufis have that impact on the surroundings. Prices are very reasonable knowing that meal is peppered by some great group of mystics. How can you beat that?. Just the peace and quite was worth spending time and the drive all the way to Franklin, a town I didn’t know existed if it wasn’t for these mystics/Sufis.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, cafe was gorgeous. my only feedback is that we did wait a long time for our food, but it ended up being well worth the wait. definitely will be returning.

Delicious food! Went with my mom, the workers were super attentive, and nice, and the food was amazing. Very nice atmosphere too, and a diverse menu.

Absolutely incredible dinner at The Tulip and The Rose with their 5th anniversary Tapas menu. The Soto Sayur was an exellent soup to start things off. Light with an excellent usage of spices. The Honey Zatar Duck Drumettes were extremely crispy and had a great zatar flavor with a hint of honey and flaked sea salt. They were moist inside and perfectly cooked. Next up was Mousakka make with local produce. They eggplant was cooked perfectly and the tomatoes were nice and sweet. It made it refreshing in this warm weather. Last but not least were the Kari Ayam Tacos with lime crema. A distinct middle eastern/Mediterranean spice flair highlights the tacos. The chicken was excellent with some pickeled onions and the cream to finish off the filling. All put inside a home made tortilla made this something I could have more and more of. I finished the meal with an extra chocolatey bundt cake. This was sweet but not too heavy and really completed the dinner. All in all this was well worth the trip to Franklin, NY. I can see why it is called one of the best restaurants in the Catskills. With a weekly rotating menu highlighting many parts of the world and various flavor profiles it really is a gem. I definitely recommend stopping in or making the trip to just go to dinner. @ The Tulip And The Rose Cafe

Phenomenal food, a real hidden gem. I've been twice and can't recommend it enough. Try the Javanese noodles, they're so good!

The most delicious, flavorful, beautifully served food I've ever tried. I compare it to many countries I've lived in and travel to. How many restaurants have a different menu every week or so?... omelette with homemade sujuk (meat sausage), baklava tasted like homemade too with good quality ingredients. Corned beef was exceptional. The serving size is pretty big too. We will be back!
