My husband and I enjoyed a meal in October on a Sunday. Though it was busy, the service was fast, the food order was accurate, the food tasty, and the dining area was clean and well stocked thanks to the young man, Orrin, who was hustling to keep it running smoothly.

This place is the best kept fast food secret that us Midwestern ers don't know about. We asked locals for recommendations and this wasn't one of them but so glad we tried it anyway. The salmon was excellent.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner at the Franklin Captain D’s today. To start with, the young man who took our order, Austin, was very courteous and helpful. We think he may have been relatively new, but we really appreciated his great attitude, which seems more the exception than the rule these days. The food was fresh, delicious, and ready quickly. The dining area was clean and bright. The background music was set at a pleasant level so we were able to enjoy some conversation at normal speaking level.
Since we are locals, if the restaurant keeps up this level of service, cleanliness, and food preparation, we’ll be coming back often and for years to come.

I’ve recently started going here to eat, a lot more often. It’s gotten a lot better! The food seems to be cooked to order and fresh. I’ve been very pleased and the help is great! I like the different sides, healthier options and a good value for fast food and quality of food! Two days ago, I did order the spicy fish sandwich combo to go, and it wasn’t spicy. I’ll try it next time and check my order before I leave.
