Lulu Belles has a very unique exterior the moment you see the place you'll know. The interior has a old school look with heavily decorated cows. The wait can get a bit long best to come on a week day when it's not too busy on the weekends. Family friendly, the staff are nice, the host may forget the order you came in when waiting to be seated so be sure to look out for how many people before you and after you entered and let them know if they accidently call the wrong party before you. My family and I enjoyed the food my boyfriend expected his dish to have more gravy with his order but came in a small plastic cup I guess you just need to order extra gravy to get the most out of the dish he ordered. Overall food is good, staff is decent just needs to be better at checking who came first before taking a group to their table.
What a awesome lil place with delicious food!! Servious was great. Coffee was good. The mismatch cups were endearing. Unfortunately the restrooms were inaccessible which caused out lunch to be cut short.
This restaurant is one you should definitely make time for if you are in the Chicago area. The service is always above and beyond and the food is just as good. It is a quick and easy breakfast spot that has a little bit of everything on the menu and it is a great price for what you get. Pictured is the Avocado Benedict
A great selection of wonderful breakfast choices freshly made, in a cozy and uniquely decorated diner. Very tasty and clearly a local institution as well. Staff members were wearing masks.
First time at this diner. The decorations are fun to look at , very nostalgic. I enjoyed the fact that they have different coffee cups at each table, gives you a feel of being at home. The food was good, I ask for extra crispy potatoes and didn’t receive that :-( There were only 4 people in the diner when I arrived, more sat down as I ate. For whatever reason, the waitress seated a single woman directly behind me who was on the phone and swearing every other word, kind of annoying when you just want to enjoy a simple meal. $15 for a skillet , eh.
Very nice classy place for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Very good service. Our food was prepared very fast.
Plenty of seating, friendly staff, large menu, fair prices and good food. Can't ask for much more
Went here for the chicken and waffles and was not disappointed, tho I was very tempted by the chilaquiles and breakfast burrito. The waffle was fluffy and yummy and on point if not exceptional, but the chicken had just great seasoning on its own and came with a gravy that just brought it to the next level. Very much enjoyed this meal, the warm welcome, and the attentive but not over bearing service. Lovely experience.
