Captain D's

I came to this Captain D’s with my family after a quick Wednesday trip to Michael’s and Dick’s and it was a good experience. I’d do it again. The staff was very nice and had a good sense of humor. It felt like 90% of the other customers were over the age of 65. That’s okay though! All vibes. It was relatively empty and the food was just as good as you’d expect it to be. Its not like an insanely awesome dining experience but I don’t think it needs to be. This Captain D’s knows what it is and follows that to a tee. The dining area seemed super up-to-date as well. I truly don’t understand how more people don’t go here. Good experience. I recommend.

Presently, am totally appalled at the treatment of the young lady who took our order. She was verbally attacked (in front of customers) by the kitchen staff, the drive thru staff, and even management. Ultimately she was sent home, causing her to have to call and wait for a ride. I asked her name and she tearfully replied "Emily". My wife and I have eaten here at the Versailles Rd store at least 3-4 times a month. I think after this incident, we will have to rethink our dining preferences. I sincerely hope the company does not condone this kind of humiliation. We saw a hurt young lady crying in the rain, so we just dumped our plates and left. BTW this was May 3, 2022 at approx 6:45pm

The drive thru had a large number of cars in n it but went very quickly. I ordered my food within 6 minutes which was surprising to me because rarely happens anywhere else. The food I ordered was served hot and delicious. I absolutely love the green beans here. I told them at the mic when ordering food I wanted ketchup and tarter sauce and they were both already put in the bag when they gave it to me I didn't have to ask again. Will be back

I ordered fish with double fries instead of cole slaw. They bring the food out with cole slaw all over the plate and on the fish. I tried telling them I didn't want it because of the slaw and they blew me off saying they would bring me more fries. I again said I didn't want it. They tried to put the fish on another plate, but again I told them I didn't want the fish because it had the slaw on it. Then they started cussing at me and making jokes. Then they told me and my family we had to leave. They did how ever give us our money back. I will never go back there. Ill go across town to the other one from now on

Very fresh which means great oil management here as well. Good service and pretty quick. Usually pretty slow for the area comparatively. Pricing is a little high as is the market of fish 🐟 restaurants but a great place to visit overall. Problem: pricing (uncontrollable) Pros: good, quick, fresh, service, traffic.
