Panera Bread

Always a friendly staff waiting to help and serve you. They offer suggestions where necessary. They greet you very warmly upon entry into their establishment. It's very nice in this FRG location. I actually just sat in there and chilled. The vibe was relaxed. No one bothered me. Well done Panera of FRG!

Be aware they have no problem stealing from their customers. I ordered a pick 2, a bagel with cream cheese and a large tea. My bill was 23.00 with a tip. When they brought my order (curbside), they told me they were out of the bagel I wanted. I said ok, did you substitute with another? No… ok, so you refunded me for the bagel? “Uh, no,” but I guess I could… I then said yes, I don’t think I should have to pay for something I didn’t receive. Do you? No answer. I mean they could’ve given me a tub of the cream cheese, a brownie, a cookie?? Something to make up for the cost of the bagel and cream cheese, but they offered nothing. It’s been 4 days, the charge is no longer pending and he never refunded me my money. If there ones thing I can’t stand is a liar. My principals will not allow me to return to this Panera.

I haven't been to any location in well over a year. Now I know why. My Fox River Grove location really disappointed me. I ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich on the bread with the oat seeds. For $6, it was absolutely tasteless and parts of the bread were toasted harder than the other parts. It was the most disproportionate sandwich that I've never not eaten in my life. The egg was gigantic compared to the rest of the sandwich. You could barely see the cheese much less taste it. The bacon was limp and greasy. I could've chosen a less expensive and less healthy breakfast but I didn't, but I probably should have. Do yourself a favor and cook at home or find an alternative. Don't damage your taste buds or waste your money here.

Like most locations, this Panera Bread has good food, friendly and efficient service, and the store is clean. From what I've seen on my few visits, this location seems to be well run. The store is clean and well kept. I've never had an order with any issues. If memory serves correct, this location no longer serves ham, so those sandwiches/items are no longer available. Panera is always a better option than fried fast food.
