I had the pleasure of dining at Spice 8 Nepalese Restaurant in Texas during my visit from Australia 🇦🇺, and it was a delightful culinary experience. The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the dumplings; they were the best I've tried in town, bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared.
The rice bowl at Spice 8 is a must-try. It was a flavorful and satisfying dish that left me craving for more. Although I was missing lamb 🐑 on the menu, the lamb shank we had was a pleasant surprise. It reminded me of the delicious lamb dishes back in Australia 🇦🇺, and I was thoroughly impressed with the flavors and tenderness.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Texas and looking for authentic Nepalese cuisine, Spice 8 is definitely worth a visit.
I recently dined at Spice 8 in Fort Worth, TX, and it was a culinary journey that left me thoroughly impressed. Their new menu, blending Indian and Greek cuisine, is a delightful fusion of flavors. Each dish was a taste sensation, showcasing the richness of both cultures. They have made many changes under new management and their head chef Ashok Kumar is down to earth and passionate about food.
The real icing on the cake, or should I say, "spice" in the curry, was the freshly made baklava cake. It added an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was impeccable. They also have live music on Friday evening. Spice 8 is a gem in Fort Worth for those seeking a unique culinary adventure with a side of live entertainment. I highly recommend it for a memorable night out.
This was our first visit to spice 8 and it definitely won’t be the last! The food was fresh, tasty, and flavorful. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very attentive. This is a great family-owned and you should definitely visit!
The food was Delicious! I brought my two children here so we can try Indian cuisine for the first time and it was a home run. The gentleman at the counter was so patient as he fulfilled our request for multiple samples and made us the perfect pizza with the toppings of his choice( I asked him to make it with love how he would eat it lol). If your thinking about trying definitely stop in you won’t regret it!
We really enjoyed the pizza! I’m definitely coming back for the lamb alone-it was very tender and seasoned well. I also had the masala chai tea and it was delicious and strong. The only thing I think they should work on is placing a menu central/or enlarging the menu. I found it hard to read and find!
I came in for a late dinner after a long flight. From the second I walked in they were very friendly, asked me to type the food that I was interested in trying, and made recommendations.
Had the samosa platter, and the chicken biryani. Both were delicious, and the hot sauces and chutneys provided the right amount of heat without blowing my head off.
Delicious Turkish chat, live music. Excellent service. I enjoyed myFriday evening with my kids. My weekend food and fun spot. Must go restaurant.
Change in menu means I had to check it out. Looks like ownership changed again and now met with new and different smiling guy at the front. Ordered a bunch of grill items and it was super delicious and they gave a free dessert. Will have to come back. Prices were fair and the meat flavorful and freshly grilled
I can't get enough of the lamb chops
Mango lassi is so mangoey 😄, spicy chow mein with paneer for a good veg option
Went back for the umpteenth time but suspect ownership has changed. Dont see the same smiling guy at the front checkout or the cook in the back who always asked me "How spicy??" They also charged me more for the paneer option and the chowmein is not as tasty as before. The lassi this time around was also too spicy and not mangoey enough for me. Samosas havent changed, still as good as it was before
Friendly and fast service. The food was delicious. We ordered the lamb tikka masala curry with a masala chai drink and some ras malai for dessert.
Amazing! Best Indian food I’ve found in North Fort Worth. A wide selection of options, but I went with the classic butter chicken and samosa plate. It was soooo good y’all, and clean, and fresh tasting. I will fasho be returning soon.
