King of Wok & Roll. (Keller, TX) First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. This is mainly a take-out venture. Indeed there are about five tables with four chairs, and a single lonely table for one (perfect for me), but the main draw is their take-out, so if you are looking for tableside dining like I suspect one reviewer was, I'd have to say sorry, you've come to the wrong place. Counter service was very friendly and inviting. I ordered the shrimp in hot garlic sauce, #58. This along with egg roll and accompanied by steamed rice (or fried rice) came to $10.01 .I thought that was a bargain. I thought the portion size was beyond adequate and for those complaining about the amount of protein being small, I can't imagine what it would have been like in the past. I must have had 15 medium-sized shrimp in my entree. It was very good. I had a short drive home and my meal was still quite hot when I finally began to eat it.. It wasn't as spicy as I would have liked. I should have ordered it extra hot, but the young lady at the counter did not prompt me, so I basically forgot. The egg roll was not greasy and was as good as could have been expected. For a stir-fry meal, I thought it was very healthy, as long as you stay away from the fried rice which tends to absorb the oil, since it has nowhere else to go.
Contrary to another reviewer there was no sign, nor did I receive a special benefit by paying cash--cost was the same. You do need to spend at least $7.00 to be able to use a credit or debit card. And yes, the cooks were wearing jeans, although I don;t know what that has to do with the quality of cuisine.
Folks, stick with the positive reviews of this place. Those are the ones that ring true.
I liked it!. Was hesitant to order after reading some reviews on here but am so glad I did. Portions were huge and the sczechuan was great. Egg rolls were soft and hot and sour soup was hot! The orange chicken my hubby got was great as well. We did not like the wontons though. It was delivered in about 25 minutes too. I will order from here again!
Good food but they have lost our business lately bc they are skimping on the meat and changed portion sizes to smaller. That was their niche. Hope they don't lose their mojo for a buck.
AHHH. The first time that we ate here I was dissapointed, but after they got established WOW the food is always hot and fresh!!!!!
Nice People. We were happy to find a Chinese restaurant near our house. The people were very friendly to me and my boys. One man even made my oldest an origami plane and wrote his name in Chinese for him... Made his day! (The food is good too!)

Best Chinese Food In Keller. My husband and I are so glad King Wok has come to the neighborhood. We use to order from other local Chinese Food places but either they are skimpy with their food for the money or the value is not work the food quality.
With our first order at King Wok we attempted the Crab Rangoon because we love them, but sadly none of the other local Chinese places can get that particular item cooked right. We were very impressed with King Wok's.
Also we have had to call in for delivery with snow/ice days when we didn't want to get out or while I was 9 months pregnant in bed rest and couldn't get out and every time they have impressed us. We like that you get a generous portion of food for the money and the same types and qty. of food at other Chinese food local chains we easily paid an additional $12 for....and it wasn't worth it in taste. Also every time we place an order for delivery they say 45 to 50 minutes but we already receive it within 30mins. Not sure if our nice tipping gains that for us or if that's just their style but they are quick in service, even when you schedule to pick up. Average time 5 to 10 minutes. So happy we have something good in take out to look forward to other than Pizza. The Keller/Ft. Worth area off Alta Vista is so overwhelmed with Pizza places it's nice to have the change.
Good food for the price. Service at time is a little unforgiving though.
Good take out. I have ordered from them several times and the food has been consistently good. Oh, and large portions.

Really good Chinese Take-out. WOW! I was really impressed with King Wok and like Reviewer Evelyn, I am thrilled to have a quality Chinese take-out delivery restaurant close by.
We ordered lunch for two at 11:30am on a weekday and I was back to our house with the order within twenty minutes. We ordered the China Town Special, Beef Lo Mein, egg rolls and potstickers. Hubby had the China Town Special, and loved it. It looked great but since I don't like shrimp, I skipped it. The Beef lo mein was really good, lots of tender, bite-sized beef. I was impressed because it was more beef and noodles than carrot & cabbage and there was plenty of that as well. The egg rolls are really good as well, light and crispy. Pot stickers were typical steamed dumplings also with a nice, delicate flavor and the sauce they came with is to die for. It didn't taste like plain old soy sauce. We were both really impressed that this food was not greasy like most Chinese food. We are so going to be regular customers. I will add that because we are so close and traffic is so bad at Beach & Golden Triangle and will only get worse during the construction, we will probably do pick up and not wait on delivery. King Wok is definitely what we call a "do-over"...we'll be back.

Return customer here. I should start out by saying that I could eat delivery style Chinese food most days and be happy. I am really excited that we now have a take out place close to the house.
I had been under the weather lately, and when I am all I want is soup and rice. I was craving won ton soup and fried rice tonight. Their menu has a ton of choices and all of them under $10. There is also a lunch menu available where all but one dish is under $5, and there are a few tables inside so inside dining is also an option.
I liked that they have an open kitchen where you can watch your food steam away, or be tossed around in the giant wok. I am happy to report that from my ordering once walking in, to leaving with my food took maybe all of 5 minutes. Since I've been sick, I only ordered the won ton soup and shrimp fried rice. My soup had 2 huge dumplings, and more than worth the $1.50 they charged for it. My rice was very tasty, and I will probably graze on it for the next few days. I did notice that my egg roll had as much or more meat than veggies inside.
If you don't have a menu already on the side of the fridge, they have some available on the outside of the storefront, so go pick one up. They explained to me that the limited delivery area is 3-5 miles, which I will take advantage of sometime soon. I noticed there was steady foot traffic of customer pickup while I waited, so I guess I'm not the only one that craves Chinese food during the week!
The fairest prices on takeout I've seen in a long time. The value was excellent. The good was pretty good but I thought my chicken had too much flour caked on it in my chicken and broccoli. I've been looking for a good Chinese takeout restaurant since moving to Keller and I think I've found one.
A hidden gem! Just happened to see them as I was driving by, tucked back in the corner behind McDonalds and Sonic. Very generous portions, and my food was freshly cooked for my order! I had enough for 2 meals! Highly recommended 👌 I will be going back whenever I'm in the Keller area. ❤️
This is the garlic chicken, every time I've ordered here was amazing. So much better than all the other Chinese places around here. I will only be ordering from here from now on. Their rice is very high quality as well. Never mushy sticky stuff like all these other places. It blows my mind that people don't rate this place five stars. They HOOK it up with the vegetables!! Their vegetables are always ripe and fresh, never brownes or wilted or undercooked. 😍😍They said 40 minutes on the delivery time and I got the food 33 minutes after I placed the order! Their sauces are great too. You can tell their cooks don't cross contaminate in their fryers, unlike places such as taste of asia(their chicken ALWAYS tastes like fish). Keep up the quality work and hats off to the chef's!!!👏👏👏
I have been trying to find a good Chinese food restaurant that was not a chain since I moved here in 2018. I received a flyer in my door and decided to give it a try. I am really happy I did. Their prices are much lower than other places, their delivery was quick and the food was perfect. Very happy I found this place.
Love the food and they are super fast. I love fast service. Plus the lady at the front it’s very courteous. But the food. The food is deli……. Don’t take my word for it. Stop by….
I enjoy King Wok's General Tso's Chicken and fried rice. Their Wonton soup is also good. The inside of the restaurant is not the fanciest and could stand to be cleaned up a little but I usually order take-out or delivery anyway. The last time I ordered a meal my food was delivered within 20 minutes of placing my order and was exactly right! Food was hot and fresh and good enough for my husband and I. Staff has always been pleasant.
Reasonably priced and incredibly quick delivery! Portions are generous and employees are so friendly.
Amazing food. Loved the service there. Broccoli Beef, Lomain Noodles and General TSO chicken and steamed rice...omg... fabulous
I understand some of the negative reviews are from the COVID staffing issue days, but I will give my review based on two visits. Both recent.
I needed a place close by that had inexpensive comfort food take-out fried rice (chicken, pork, shrimp, veggie). This place does that well. Have also gotten soup and it was good too. No issues.
First time ordering from this place (haven't dined in yet) and it was a good experience. Our food came in earlier than scheduled. Food was very good. I'm glad we decided to try this place out!
