Quaint and homey family owned BBQ spot in Fort Worth. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch with 2 coworkers. The staff was incredibly friendly, personable, professional, and accommodating. Limited menu but delicious food! The food was serve hot and was amazing. The portion sizes were large enough to take some home a d good for the value. I will absolutely be back here.

Time proven classic soul food right on the corner of 35W and Rosedale. Handwritten specials on a dry erase board today were breaded pork chops and barbecue smoked turkey legs. Phenomenal! Just as amazing were the sides.. cooked greens, yams, fried okra. They have daily specials as well.
Super duper sweet lemonade, tea and Kool aid. Don't forget to try the teacakes! They're not GF but I'm told they are delish.

Good food and good service. We Shared a 3 meat plate and large kool-aid for $20.
They have home cooked meals as well so be sure to ask about those at the register (I think these change daily). Today they had meatloaf, spaghetti and meatballs and fried pork chops.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and hade the turkey leg plate with potato salad and baked beans and tea to drink .. the food was really good I say a lot better than most barbecue places the meat was not over cooked it was perfect and the tea was perfect too but the customer service was A1 we will definitely be returning to Mama E's to eat I want to try everything. Thank you for your service and hospitality.

I love her potato salad. It is like mashed potatoes and the taste is sweet. She has thinly sliced flavorful brisket and her lemonade is great too.

THE BEST BARBECUE IN THE UNITED STATES! Miss Ernestine is a barbecuing queen. I cannot believe how good that potato salad was and the sauce and the sweet potato pie and oh my goodness!!! Just left this place and I didn't leave unimpressed! Really felt like I went to my Granny's house to get some food, real quick! I got the sliced beef with baked beans and potato salad and a drink for 11 bucks and it was well worth it..everything was good. I cleaned that plate off! Ready to try their sausage next! Will def be going back! Everyone was professional and made it really feel like home.

Quaint little place with a home-like vibe. The staff was welcoming and friendly. This is the best barbecue I have had in years. The barbecue was tender with the perfect amount of smoky flavor and barbecue sauce. The chopped beef sandwich (with butter-toasted bun) melted in my mouth. For dessert, the 7-up pound cake brought a smile to my face.

Really enjoyed eating here. Great warm welcoming atmosphere! Awesome customer service and hospitality. My husband and I ordered the BBQ chicken plate! I love the fact that they do not cook their sides with pork or beef! It makes it so easy to order. Food was really good.
