Fuzzy's Taco Shop

I've always heard good things about Fuzzy's but I've just never had the opportunity to visit one. Today I decided to stop by here since I was in the area. Walked in. It was alittle dim, but that's okay since it's an overcast day. Also, reminds me of walking into a bar - neon beer signs atop of the walls. That's also okay cuz they serve alcohol. Rustic decor. Pleasing. Looks like thoughtful effort. Cool outdoor dining patio. Muted music in the background. Not sure what genre. Enough to lend atmosphere without being too overpowering. It's a Wednesday around early lunchtime. Steady foot traffic. Not too busy. Food? Not disappointed. Got the taco plate. So many meat options posted on menu. Nice. Got carnitas and brisket on soft corn tortillas. Rice and beans on the side. (There was also different options for that - I think she said "green" rice?, Mexican rice, etc. ranchero beans, etc.) I went basic with refried beans and Mexican rice. Also added chips and queso with a side of quac. Finished off with sweet iced tea. Takeway - I'm so full now. Highly satisfied with food/flavors/quantity. Only spent $20. Happy with visit. Highy recommend. Gonna have to come back again later to try the other taco meats.

Eating breakfast at Fuzzy’s is like sitting down with to eat with old friends. The staff is always friendly and endlessly patient with my ridiculous food allergies. I love laughing and visiting with them. I’m a big fan of their migas plate, breakfast burritos, fresh brewed tea, and coffee. I miss how they used to make their potatoes versus what they serve now, but it hasn’t stopped me from ordering their migas plate or my beloved chorizo, egg, cheese, and potato burrito bowl. When it comes to their baja tacos, I particularly like their spicy pork tacos, chicken tacos, and their veggie tacos. Sean, Yolanda, and Ashley sure made our day! Hubs was waiting for tires to be installed and walked over to get a taco. Got up, not realizing he dropped his wallet. We called to ask since that was the last place he used it! At first Sean said they didn’t have it, but when he asked Ashley she remembered and had Sean call us back!! He even gave us 5$ off our order for customer satisfaction! Ashley remembered me as a regular since I like to add a fried egg to my tacos! We were so worried we were going to have to cancel credit cards! Nice to know honest people are still out there!

The food is decent, but it is overshadowed by this location being incredibly slow. It normally takes 20-30 min to get your food. I normally order online which gives you a "pickup time". It is NEVER ready when they say....as in at least 20-30 later than the displayed time. Secondly, if it's busy, they make lots of mistakes. For example, see the pic...you can see they forgot the other side...which was beans. How can you have Mexican rice without beans?!?!?! Update on 3/12/23 Ordering breakfast has been timely and tastes great. Updated to 4 stars. Location has gotten better.
