Went for breakfast today for the first time. The tacos are super on point. I had the spinach tacos and added sausage hash browns and grits on the side. Coffee is hot and good. Company with me got the pancakes and they were great. The service was friendly and fast. I look to go back.

Wonderful!. I vent to to River Oaks Cafe this weekend with my family who lives in the Fort Worth area. Between the few of us we tried the french toast, pancakes, ROC Burger, and the sausage omelet, all of which were wonderful! The pancakes were literally the size of Texas and the french toast was the best I have ever had! The sauce on the burger tasted like nothing I have had before; it was very delicious! Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked just right! Besides everything tasting great, the atmosphere was very nice. Employees were friendly and gave great service! The chef/owner even came by to ask how everything was! I am from Irving and will definitely be making the drive back to the River Oaks Cafe very soon!

DUSTY'S DINER. Dusty's Diner in River Oaks ,a small town in TX, is a great independently owned restaurant. Family and friends gather frequently at this establishment for homecooking and hospitality. On your next visit I recommend trying any one of the daily specials, especially the homemade chicken fried steak, and don't forget to top it off with a homemade dessert. You won't be dissapointed!

This was the first time I tried this cafe and I must say, I enjoyed it very much. My brother brought me here for breakfast and I will be back again. I ordered the short stack of pancakes with bacon and almost fell over when I saw how huge they were. It took up the entire plate. I only at one and took the other one home and ate off of it for 2 days. The pancakes taste like a cake and is really delicious. Our server was a doll and other services also were very helpful and funny. The people were very friendly and the atmosphere was so homie. If you're over in this area, I would respond you stop by and make a new friend. I give this place 2 👍🏽👍🏽

This cafe was wonderful!! It was a recommendation from a nearby Airbnb Super Host, Susan, and she couldn’t have picked a better place to fuel up before proceeding on our road trip. Though crowded, we arrived when a table freed up and overall they seem to have a good turnaround time on tables so even if you have wait, it won’t be long. The staff were very friendly and kind and the atmosphere down right homey. The food was incredible, filling, and you get a lot for the price. I left full and very happy. Should you ever find yourself in this area, please take the time to stop in. You will not be disappointed!

The River Oaks Cafe is basically a local institution in this small city, earning the business of locals’ and travelers’ as far back as I can remember. Open 7 days a week, from 6:00am - 3:00 pm, it’s a little hole in the wall that’s serving up some of the best comfort food in town! Located in a strip mall along the main drag in River Oaks, you can expect to see lots of old timer’s, families with kids, police and even military personnel. I used to eat here with my Papa before he passed away, so it’s a very nostalgic place for me. The old 1980’s decor is tired, but what they lack in pizazz, they make up for in flavor! The wait staff is always kind and the menu is expansive offering everything from breakfast, lunch specials, burgers, entrees, sandwiches, soups, salads, sides and desserts. Our order: Fried Hash Browns (ordered extra crispy) topped with shredded Cheddar Cheese and fresh jalapeños, but you can also add Bell Peppers, Onions, Sour Cream or Tomatoes! My aunt ordered two over easy Fried Eggs with two Sausage Pattie’s and an enormous Pancake with whipped butter that arrived at our table almost as large as the plate it was served on! I ordered a small cup of Grits with my breakfast and enjoyed every single bite! Pros: The prices are very affordable! The service and atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for and expect from a long term local eatery. There’s a couple of small tables on the little patio for anyone looking to enjoy their meal outdoors. Cons: Not a single complaint from me, but it gets busy between the breakfast/lunch rush hours of 10:00am - 1:00pm, so be mindful.

I couldn't give higher praise! This is the best cafe in Fort Worth that I've found. The staff here is amazing, the food is flavorful and fresh, and they keep the coffee full! Their Florentine Texas Bennie with hatch chilies blew me away, the pork hash is tender and crispy, and their french toast is unique and heavenly!! We had several staff members check in on us and welcome us to the restaurant. Honestly, a great Sunday brunch spot!

True home cooked food . Love this place and the whole staff is all smiles with NO ATTITUDE. I had steak and eggs and the steak was better than any steak I have had in long time . Homemade delicious bow sauce whose was unexpected but amazing . My eggs were little undercooked but they were happy to replace them . Delicious food and great service. This a true hold on wall type diner . Place was packed at 1130 am on a sat . Easy to see why . Keep up the good food and good service .

Pretty good food. Great atmosphere and servers. Will definitely be back. Though the chicken fried pork chop wasn't as tender as I like (I suppose that's the nature of pork, eh?) - my companion's chicken fried steak was great. She was pleased with it. Topped off the day with a slice of hot apple pie and a scoop of ice cream. I'll definitely be back when I'm on this side of the MetroMess again.

Fantastic old school cafe. Always greeted with a smile by the staff. The food is simply amazing. Brunch on Saturdays is the way to go. Several choices of custom egg Benedict's. Some of the largest pancakes that will fill you up! Have yet to have anything that wasn't very good. Must try small town cafe.
