Good consistent value, great salsa and tortillas!. Always stuffed. So I would say the 8th/Magnolia and the Henderson one produces better food faster than the one on Camp Bowie. The one on Camp Bowie always seems to be hot or cold or have HVAC issues and a kiddie party. But the Tiffin Hall will keep you full for 30 hours, so all of the rest of it is just trifle. Not fancy, but it tastes great and the tortillas and chips and salsa and giant sodas on their own will be a respite on a hot Texas afternoon! Great place to go when you are still a bit grubby from yard work or a garage sale or something outside, they wont judge! I just wish they had any tequilas besides Cuervo. Come on!
Chips and Salsa. Skip the food and concentrate on the chips, salsa and corn tortillas! They are great-the rest of the food is mediocre at best.
Iconic. What can you say about a restaurant that has made it work for so long. the food is consistent. the chips, salsa and tortillas are some of the best around and the value cannot be denied.
I am always trying brisket tacos looking for the best ones. Mexican Inn Cafe has some of the best. Their chips and salsa are so addicting, try to save room for your food. Don't skip the queso either!
Got the fajitas and tamales. The sauce on the tamales was really good and the queso was good too. I wish there was proper tortilla chips. They have homemade fritos I guess you call them. Still very good though. Reminded me of the ones Iโve had in Spain. Just feels odd to have with queso. Fajita meat was alright. I enjoyed the tortillas a lot and you can choose between corn and flour. Their corn tortillas are really good too. I honestly just give it a 4 star because itโs nothing crazy. feels like every other Mexican restaurant. Better atmosphere than other places though. Still a great place. The cups for soda are massive. Little over a pint Iโm assuming.
Cheese enchilada was very good, bean, rice the same. This is my go to meal. The chips and salsa are spot on delish as well. One of my โmust go to placesโ when visiting Fort Worth.
Very nice food. Staff is very attentive and efficient. Food was delivered fast, warm and nicely presented. Prices are very reasonable. Good experience, recommend it!
Very attentive and quick service! Even though the kitchen staff was short they still made yummy food quickly! Pictured are the chips and salsa, and brisket enchiladas ๐ Restaurant was clean too. No complaints!
It was neat and fun! There is a neat story on the back of the menu!
Hospitable staff!
Chips for the salsa are excellent!
This is the second time I've been into the Mexican inn. There is reasons behind that. Because they have excellent food they have excellent service. And I never have a problem when I go in there it's a place where I can kick back speak the lingo with other Mexicans and beer white Mexican for a day. LOL check it out
Great customer service. Everyone is super nice here. The food was good as well. The prices were reasonable. The establishment was pretty clean and neat. Great place to catch up with friends or have a family outing.
Mexican inn Cafe. Lots of years in ft worth serving tasty Mexican food and your favorite beverages. Corn chips made on site at every location as well as fresh corn tortillas. Great with butter, salsa, sprinkle of salt.
After 45 years of eating the #2 special, I decided to try the Mexican Cafe Dinner. It was great! I have been visiting the 8th Ave. Location since the mid 1990's and the food and service is always great! Then I went back for the beef burrito!
