Phenomenal. This cute sandwich shop is nestled right on camp Bowie in a plaza. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Food itself was vibrant, it leaves you feeling satisfied & refreshed.

When my team needed a speedy lunch, we contacted The Lunch Box. Their sandwiches and pasta salad are both scrumptious, and I even went back for seconds! Placing a catering order with them is effortless, and their prices are reasonable.

The Lunch Box catered lunch to our hotel on our daughter's wedding day so the girls could eat while doing hair and makeup. Everything was wonderful! Highly recommend

We stopped here for lunch. I had only been here once before, quite some time ago, though my wife visits with friends more often.
I had the chicken salad on the marbled rye bread. It was great with lots of filling. The bread was amazing, but I think I'll request it lightly toasted next time as the filling nearly overwhelmed the very soft bread (a good thing). I had the potato salad with hardboiled egg as a side, also excellent!
My wife had the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato), which she really enjoyed.
We will definitely return.

The staff is very friendly and very nice. The atmosphere is very calming and a place to eat lunch inside or on the patio. Would recommend any one to eat.

I’ve always heard great things about this place and finally (after ten+ years) got around to eating here. It is great. They offer a 4 sandwich sampler with 1/4 slice each of tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad and pimento cheese. I tried all 4 on marbled rye bread. All excellent and the chicken salad was my favorite. 🐤 👍🏽
They share ownership and kitchen space with The Black Rooster Bakery so that would explain why the bread was so tremendously good too.
The waitress was super nice and attentive and I look forward to going back.
Be aware that they don’t have a door facing the street so it can be hard to find/notice, but based on the crowd size I don’t think it’s a bad thing because it was nearly full. More visibility would just mean having to wait in a line. 😉

Bright colors and plenty of windows make this a cheery quaint little place. Our server matched the decor, bright and cheerful. Coffee is rich and strong. Pickled veggies and Dukkah seasoning make the avocado toast a unique combination. This is a fun little place.
