The best!!! Went at 5:30 on a Wednesday evening...great service, great jazz combo, great food---chicken and waffles, catfish/shrimp and grits were superb. Sunshine's pecan thang may be the best dessert we have ever eaten...great happy hour specials. Look out Sunday brunch---here we come!

I’ve lived in N’Orleans and eaten some great gumbo in my lifetime. I’m what they call a “foodie” these days, but I have a degree in restaurant management. That being said, I rate the gumbo at Buttons as the best I’ve ever tasted, and commend Cheg Keith Hicks on the dish.
