This is truly some of the best German food I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot. Same food as Edelweiss formally was! I highy recomend it and Julie the main waitress is wonderful!

The Ham hock was huge and very delicious. The cream spinach was some of the best I have ever had. Service was great. I would highly recommend it.

There was only one other customer when I showed up at 3:45pm on a Friday. Real bavarian drinking songs played in the background. The waitress was very sweet, helpful, and attentive. I was very hungry when I arrived so I bought the combination platter. I could only manage to eat a part of it and ended up taking a whole meal's worth of food in a take-home box. I would give the german food and authenticity rating of a 9 out of 10.

Older place, with choices that were ok... But have had better. Batter on schnitzel was well done, but was not seasoned. Brats were good, red cabbage was good, sauerkraut had a weird wine taste to it, but was ok. The Jager gravy was not seasoned very well but had good consistency. Lots of older crowd eating here, maybe to remind them of being stationed in Europe, but it was not as authentic as the wife and I hoped. I will tell you though... The curry ketchup was actually pretty damn good.

Cute restaurant Food was delicious Appetizers fries mushrooms and potato pancakes were fantastic, my mom, brother and I just gobbled it up like pancakes. And we were eating potato pancakes lol My brother drank german beer mug and he liked it. Drank it like if it was regular beer however he was buzzed after drink 1/4 of it lol. Now the food, 😮‍💨😋 Beef ala, I can pronounce the others but man they were so good. I will say I think my meal looked more delicious 🤤 but I cheated on it wen I saw 👀 the dessert 🍮 lol. I’m not going to lie we still ate our meals like champs but had to get a to go box. Had to admit defeat 😅. When she mentioned the dessert 🍮 I couldn’t miss that opportunity lol My crew thought I was nuts but I’m killing that dessert at lunch Germany blackforest cake and pecan coconut cake 🤩

Wonderful experience and great food. We were in town for a family emergency. My wife and I desperately needed a home cooked style meal. Everything we tried was great and the wait staff was very patient explaining the menu items. Portions are very large and you'll definitely leave full. Thanks so much!

Great fresh made German food. Not much more to say than that. It is all great. Julie is an awesome server. Some people are put off by the old building and it's appearance. Please do not let this deter you from enjoying this place.

Tasty food, good beer, and great service. Heard about this gem from Fort Worth Foodies, my wife and I love German food so we had to stop by. I had the Hungarian-Style Gulash, noodles were just right, sausage and meat was perfect. The red cabbage was a great side with just the right balance of sour, and the spatzle had the correct consistency. The Paulaner Hefe-Weizen was a great light wheat beer to top it all off. Finished with the German Chocolate Cake, recommend.

I'm always down for some good German food and I've been wanting to try this place out so I stopped in for lunch. Our server was very sweet and attentive and the food portions were much larger than expected. You get a lot of bang for your $$$ here. The sausage sampler was awesome and could have been a meal of its own. The schnitzel breading was very tasty. The gravy was also good, but much lighter than I'm use to. Some German style music playing softly in the background could've contributed to the authenticity of the ambiance in my opinion but that's just me splitting hairs. This was a very enjoyable visit and I'll definitely be back.

We came here for my husband's birthday. I'll admit that at first I was a little iffy about it since it's an old Denny's building and the prices seemed a bit high, but the food was good and the portions massive. We ended up taking enough leftovers home for at least a couple of meals. The staff were great and extremely helpful.

Great food! Don't let appearances keep you from trying this German food gem! It's not much to look at. It's housed in the old Denny's on Camp Bowie. The inside doesn't look a lot different from when it was a Denny's, either. Seems some of the wall paint and art has changed, and there are now kitschy red and white vinyl checkered table cloths on the tables. But you can come here dressed comfortably, kick back with a giant Paulaner, and enjoy some amazing German food. We unfortunately showed up an hour before they closed. It was our first time at Little Germany, we were celebrating a birthday, and we had a list of many dishes we wanted to try. When we saw they'd be closing soon, we took a several entrees off our list, but still ended up with enough food for an army. We had Shaslik, beef ala, Jager and Vienna schnitzel, (on the combination plate which came with two sausages) the six sausage plate - but they also offered us two seasonal sausages, one beer based, the other venison, so it became an eight sausage plate, (we had a total of 10 different sausages adding them all together!) potato pancakes, potato dumplings, pan fried potatoes, red cabbage, Sauerkraut, the (goulash based, I think?) soup, two types of bread, and of course, Spatzle. We took home a piece of chocolate cake and apple strudel, and what felt like 30 pounds of leftovers! All of it was amazing. The highlights, though, were the Shaslik (we ordered it with beef and pork only, no chicken) and especially, the beef ala, neither of which we'd ever had before. I typically do not enjoy red cabbage at other German restaurants (though I like cabbage in general) but I really loved the way it was done at a Little Germany. We felt so bad showing up so close to closing time. We were trying to hurry, and as soon as all our food arrived, I took a few bites and began the huge task of packing everything up to go while my birthday guest continued eating. Our waitress was so kind, and never rushed us at all. She did help me pack up some of the take home items, which we appreciated. I know her and the other couple of staff members did not want to be kept late. We did keep them just a few minutes late and we felt terrible... We are so sorry. We hope our tip made up for it. Anyway, it seemed as though all the food was cooked fresh as we ordered it, and our server was great, and very attentive. Even though we told her from the beginning we were going to be taking a majority of the items home with us, she, and/or the kitchen staff individually plated up every single dish for a nice presentation. Also, they use smattering of older mix-match dishes to serve the food upon, which I think is kind of neat. The prices are extremely reasonable for the serving sizes, and quality of food you receive. We spent a small fortune that night, but we ordered half the menu! We will definitely be returning, repeatedly, and will order the other half of the menu, as well. Maybe just not all at once, and we'll definitely check their hours ahead of time next time. I think Little Germany is superior to the place down the road on the traffic circle, and you don't have to listen to the awful live polka music! Thanks again to the staff that night for making sure we had such a great time. I'll attach a few photos with this review, but I was in a flying hurry taking them, due to the time crunch.... they probably don't do the food justice. Go to Little Germany; you will not regret it.

Update...still delicious! This time we got a few pictures. Hubby had the larger portion of Jaeger Schnitzel. I had the Hungarian goulash. Yum! 3 ywats ago...Delicious!! Hubby and I decided to go for an anniversary lunch rather than dinner given the current pandemic. We shared the sampler trio and the combination plate. We were so busy enjoying the delicious food, we only got a picture of one of the ginormous fried mushroom from the sampler trio. The goulash soup is absolutely DELICIOUS!!
