Had brunch here last Sunday and was OK. I did not care for my order b/c it was salty and I don't eat a lot of salt so I think I was sensitive to it. Someone else may love it that way. I think our server had to many tables or she was having a really bad day but the manager was very good. I think any business has good days and bad days - I think we went on a bad day but again the manager was very good.

Eat here once a week since it opened and never had a bad or even average meal. Love the filet, mashed potato’s and spinach for dinner, crab salad for lunch. Service is always attentive and the best margarita in town. Edit: the new bone in new york strip is the best steak in town.

What a fantastic establishment in a great part of Fort Worth. It’s beautifully decorated to make you feel settled and comfortable. The menu is broad enough to please just about anyone. And the food is so good. Just the perfect portions combined with amazing flavor makes the meal a delight. If you are looking for a place for a business meal, a date night, or brunch with your friends - you just found it.

We've been coming for years and enjoy the Tavern. It's a little upscale for our family, so we don't bring the kids. It can get really busy for dinner. The menu is pretty consistent, but highlight for us are the fish tacos, cornbread, meatloaf, Rubén sandwich, and the crab cakes. They have a pretty sweet happy hour too if you want a cold drink and appetizers. We went twice in June 2023 and the staff/service were fantastic. I highly recommend if you want a classy place with good food, great service, and want to stay away from downtown and the trendy parts of town.

Wanted to give 5 stars but had a few small hickups which should not happen with these prices. Ok the cornbread is to die for it was awesome a must have. The rigatoni was great. The Zuni salad with chicken was so so not much flavor wife was disappointed in it.

Finally stopped in here and enjoyed a delicious meal, Im so glad I did. For the longest time I thought this was a sports bar but boy was I wrong. Its a relatively small place with an upscale charm. Our waiter Irving was just great, he made some great suggestions and honestly we looked at the menu far to long as a result of his suggestions, because most of it sounded good. Started off with a dirty martini which to be frank needed some improvements, if the bartender couldn't make a proper staple drink like that then get someone else to make it. Settled on the wagyu burger with the Mac n cheese and it was incredible, kids chicken nuggets, and enchilada and filet. The burger was really good as were the fries. The chicken nuggets were some of the best we've had at a restaurant. The ranch was good but had a very strong onion flavor and wasn't like a traditional ranch, they would be wise to just stick what works with ranch and don't get fancy with it. My filet was incredible, it was juice and cut with a fork. The enchilada as slightly bland, and would have been better without the red sauce on top, so I suggest 86'ing that or seeing if they have a different sauce. Also I recommend steering clear of dishes with their rice. It’s just not very appetizing. I will be back to try the other things I couldn't decide between.

A pretty good experience on a Sunday Evening. The service was good, not great. Atmosphere was well above average. The food - was good, but was very expensive for what it was. So not sure that they will be tops on our places to go. Just did not see the value, but others may. I had the Barbeque Chicken - Essentially 2 small chicken breasts with over cooked BBQ sauce on top, ok coleslaw, a and yes a deviled egg, and a 1.5" x 1.5" piece of cornbread (maybe 2x2) Another had the "Famous" Pastrami Sandwich - I'll add a picture of it "piled high??????" of note: It was served cold not even warmed. Also, the Steak Tacos - my daughter seemed to like it - that's all I got. And the last one was the Steak Salad. Water to drink with lemon upon request. Again, not that it us bad, but there are better options for the price.

We love this place! Food and service are great! We had the filet with enchilada, steak salad and ribs and loved them all. One suggestion is to work to bump the crowd up a notch or two. Noisy kids and diners in very casual clothing take away from what could be an outstanding experience. Maybe dim the lighting and add a dress code during dinner hours.

Fantastic place. Thought it was a little pricey at first but everything we ordered was well worth it and the proportions are huge. I had the Mexico City Enchiladas and they really did taste like Enchiladas I get down in Mexico. It could have easily been shared with my wife and I would still been full. The wife had the club and said it was delicious. We also started with the queso and guacamole. It was very good and different than your usual queso. We will be back for sure.
