Love Sweet Things Bakery

I love sweets, so I am always on a quest to find a nice jewel somewhere. I came across this one by pure, luck! OMG, I got myself a red velvet cupcake, my hubby a cookies and cream cupcake and a half dozen cookies. I bit into the cupcake and fell in love! It was moist, sweet (but not over baring), light, melt in your mouth classic red velvet taste and not lacking flavor. I have had a lot of cakes/cupcakes but I would have to say this one was up there in top 5 category!!! The cream cheese frosting was creamy and delicious with the crunch of the sprinkles...AMAZING! Also the cupcakes are so inviting with the beautiful paper their wrapped in! A lot of love goes into their products and you can taste it in every bit. I didn't get the young ladies name at the counter however, she was really sweet and welcoming. I will definitely be back to get these amazing treats soon!!!!

Love Sweet Things (ME TOO) what a name, so we decided to try a birthday cake here. They do custom cakes with 2 weeks notice, it's a small shop at high traffic intersection kinda have to look to see it sandwiched in between other shops, but once you open the door the bakery goodness awakens your senses and then you are presented with cupcakes and cookies in a small display area, if you Love sweet things then this would be your O WOW moment, selection is simple, display tempting, and the service outstanding. I didn't think to get the ladies name that helped us I was overwhelmed with anticipation of that 1st taste but she was outstanding we ordered a simple 10" cake called the Black Tie Affair Chocolate and vanilla cake alternated layers to create the best of both worlds,this affair is also marbled with creamy chocolate bliss and vanilla buttercream.(as described on their website) and was absolutely delicious cake was baked perfectly in my opinion moistness was spot on, layering of the flavors pure sweetness to the palate, the design and the little bowties on the top were shaped nicely and it modeled nicely for the camera's. In short I Love sweet things bakery with short notice they went above and beyond our expectations the pricing is comparable and reasonable to the many other Bakeries and Bakers we have enjoyed in the area just remember it is SWEET, their website is well done and they are on most social platforms. The shop is small and can get crowded quick when I picked up Saturday their were 4-5 people their ordering cupcakes and it was tight they have 1 small table inside to sit. Works better for me to order and pickup Obviously when there I'm going want to get more goodies and check out their promotion bogo cupcake when you text DRIZZLE to # provided at store -- it's a keeper

I LOVE Sweet Things Bakery! I got a cake and cupcakes from there for my mother's 50th birthday party, and everything looked and tasted AMAZING! They are such talented bakers and decorators! Probably the best I've ever seen! Also, their customer service is wonderful! I'm only rating it four stars instead of five because we were told that the cupcakes would have their signiture frosting, (a mix between wedding cake icing and buttercream) but they didn't. The texture of the icing on the cupcakes seemed like whipped to me. I know it wasn't a weird batch because the actual cake did have the right icing. Luckily, nobody minded, but it wasn't what they told us... However, this is still my favorite bakery by a long shot!

Wanted to get a custom birthday cake from here but was told it had to be two weeks prior instead of the week before when I called. Not so bad, so instead just went in and got cupcakes that they had in the store. Very, very delicious! I'm not a fan of buttercream but their buttercream frosting was awesome! All the flavors were spot on!

Ordered 3 different flavors for a 80th bday party cake on June 8. Both cakes looked exactly like the picture we ordered. Every single person loved all of the flavors. We had German Chocolate, Strawberries with buttercream frosting and Hummingbird. If you want something different I would say try the Hummingbird. We will certainly use their services again.
