This place has some really good burgers. Loved the college feel of the place right by TCU. We went right at 1230 and the place was packed. We never had any issues finding a spot to sit even with two toddlers. The food came out quickly as well.
Best burger in Fort Worth, hands down. The bleu cheese burger is my favorite, but every one I’ve tried is great. The fried cheese is incredible. Onion rings are huge with a delicious batter. Never disappointed. We often share a burger and get an order of cheese sticks, as well.
Solid old school burger in the shadow of the TCU campus. There are quite a few places located right next to a college campus that everyone raves about and when you go you realize that convenience scores high on the calculation. This isn't one of those places, it would be good if it were in the middle of nowhere. Parking can be a pain, and it may take a few minutes for them to cook it, but it is worth it. Solid burger, with lots of options
Dutch Hamburger is really good. It's located on the main drag of University Ave. across from the heart of TCU. The decor inside is a collage of football, TCU and bar. It's fun. The layout is kind of unique. They took the square restaurant and split it in three with walls and doorways separating the three looks. The far left is a bar with drinks on tap. The center is where you order and sit down. The far right is just seating, but it's a little more private.
The burgers were very good. They come in half pounds only, so sharing is a good idea. The buns are wonderful. They are soft with a slight Hawaiian sweet roll taste. The meat flavor is really good. I wish they would cook it medium. The burger was a little dry. The add-ons like bacon, bleu cheese and chipotle sauce were great. The fries and tator tots were hot and seasoned properly. The onion rings were a bust. It's the only thing we would not order again.
Dutch is an awesome place. Definitely give it a try. They must be doing something right to win The Star Telegram and DFW.com 2015 burger challenge.
I can't begin to tell you how great Dutch's is. I've been coming here for more than four years and I haven't had a bad burger yet. The Vaquero Burger is wonderful with fried onion and jalapeno strings, bacon and a nice smokey barbeque sauce. The fries are crispy and appear to be double fried. The bleu cheese burger is equally good but with a definite blue cheese flair. The onion rings are enormous and worth every penny. The Lineman is a double patty, a full pound monstrosity which I ordered on a whim one day. I finished it somehow. No mean feat. It is a double version of their namesake Dutch burger with cheddar cheese. N-I-C-E! And of course I have had their basic Dutch burger which is pure pleasure. On Tuesday they are half price. The Dutch's quarter pound "Frog" (Hot) Dog is half price on Wednesday. I haven't had one mainly because I cannot get past the burger lineup. Kid's Meals are $2.00 on Mondays.
Dutch's has a fun atmosphere with a bar on the northside of the building. Order at the counter for your food. They have a lot of other items, you know, bar food: chili cheese fries, fried pickle slices, chips and salsa and the like. The only reason I haven't given Dutch's five stars is the parking. It can be a real pan to find it at times.
Won't mince words here. Best burger i have ever had. REAL onion rings. Prepare to use both hands on everything infusing the rings. They are that big. Show up starving. Good prices. The bacon bleu burger. ..yum!

Parking sucks. Everything else is a delight. We will come back. Maybe by taxi???
We loved it! I had the burger with mushroom and Swiss with a side salad. Two daughters had plain cheeseburgers. My companions had a fabulous chicken sandwich with Bleu cheese and bacon / Swiss. All burgers were cooked perfectly, buns were so yummy with a hint if sweetness, my daughter loved her skin- on fries and the ambiance was so cute! We will be back!
Still the best burger I've ever eaten after 5 years of coming here. Just can't beat the classic Dutch burger with onion rings.
Dutch's. I always get the same burger and visit about once every two weeks. they remember my name and what i order. I enjoy the experience and that's why i keep going back. I recommend it to everyone.
Yum!. I am not even a big burger person, but this one was delicious! I did feel like I was going to give birth afterwards however, but still really good!
Move Over M&O and Ted E's!. First visit to Dutch's and I am so impressed. I expected a campus burger joint to be a typical burger and shake place that alumni love because they reminisce of their college days, but while on campus I figured we'd stop in an check it out for outselves. Wow! I loved it all! A great homemade-style patty with great flavor and then topped with more great flavors and capped with a moist and somewhat sweet bun that brings it all together. Fries, tots or rings finish the meal that will definitely leave you full.
Dutch’s is a Ft Worth gem, located right across from TCU. They have some of the best burgers around—-the buns are what sets them apart! But don’t take my word only, look at the long list of reviews and even the award they have won for best burgers! Also, the ownership are pretty great too!
Ate lunch during weekday around 11:30am there menu on the wall and at the cashier counter no picture on the menu had big appetite so I got a double meat burger (LINEMAN) with onion rings very delicious the service was quick i will be coming back
Line was long but it goes fast. What is long is after you put in the order, takes a little bit for them to prepare the order. We came after a football game so that is why it took a bit of time which is totally understandable. I thought the dutch burgers were good not great and fries was poor. The wings were good though. my wife really loved her burger the vaquero burger.
Fabulous to-die-for burgers, my favorite in all of Ft Worth. I always get the onion rings which are huge and tasty, also the best in cowtown. This place never disappoints.
This is a typical college spot near campus. The atmosphere was fun with TV screens and TCU memorabilia. It was quite and a good place to visit over good food. The burger, home cut onion rings and salad were all good.
Burger was amazing. The sweet bread was a great contrast to the Habanero Burger.
Sooo good! Great burgers, from your typical burger to specialty burgers that are as tasty as they are unique. Buns are soft and tasty, burgers are large and definitely fill you up. Everything tasted great, the Only issue I had was with the onion rings. They were huge and delicious with a pepper and beer batter coating that was super tasty. The problem with them is since they were cut thin but wide the batter doesn't have enough onion to cling to on the edges so the breading slips off on your first bite of every ring. Not a huge deal, everything still tasted great, just had to slap the batter back on the onion and hold it in place but still a minor inconvenience. Overall, great place and would definitely visit again!
Friendly service, cold beers, clean taps, but the burgers are just okay. I tried the Texana (avocado burger) and onion rings on this visit and maybe got about a tablespoon of mashed avocado under the top bun. Just tasted like a regular burger, which was disappointing.
It's been a while but driving for dallas it's one of the best tasting burgers I have had..I highly recommend if ur the area. Its a great great and delicious 🍔
The best burger I've had in many years! Highly recommend!
