Steak 'n Shake is but a shadow of its once bustling former self. Tables & floors could use some attention.
But, what really caught me off guard is nothing bad about the restaurant, I had a flash back to 'Back to the future' the diner in the future with arcade games that you needed to use your hands to play, like the claw game sitting on the back right wall, automated systems the minute you walk in, to the old fashioned uniforms. With a small twist... this could easily become that movie cinema diner in but a heartbeat!
Food still tastes great! Will be coming again with more imagination!

It was sorta OK. Very skimpy on the fries - box was lucky if it was 1/4 full. Got barely a handful with the meal. Meal was $8.99 should have gotten a nice full box of fries for that amount of money! Burger was mediocre as well. I'm used to them being crispy. This burger was greasy and soggy.

The workers there were really nice to my friends and I. This lady worker was so nice and sweet! The strawberry milkshake was amazing and so were the fries lol. My friends and I like to hangout there since I live close by. Purr slay queen

My three grandsons were given the choice of where to go to eat over this past weekend, it was a reward for doing well in school. They had not been out to eat for a long time because of Covid and they pick their favorite because they had not been there for a long time. Steak ‘n ShakeOn Coldwater in Fort Wayne . Upon arriving they were not happy, these are young preteen boys and they were disgusted at how unclean the dining area was. They wanted to leave but we’re short on time because they were trying to grab a bite to eat before going to the movie. I felt like someone needs to be aware of this is why I’m posting my complaint. I think you can do better steak ‘n Shake!

Very disappointing. We were literally the only customers in the whole place. After we walked in, not a single worker acknowledged us. No servers, so we had to order our food on the computers. It was like a ghost town. A young lady brought us our food, and she was nice, but that was the only interaction we ever had with staff. Tables, floor, counters, and bathroom were all unattended.

Second one we have been to that has gotten rid of waitresses. This one was cleaner, and more polite. The portions are definitely smaller, and not worth paying the same price.

Cesal is fabulous! I have many food allergies and he always takes care of my food! He goes above and beyond. Very friendly kind hearted guy who truly cares!

Literally worst location, always missing food, bottom of bag felt cold when we were handed food, drive home and fries feel like they’ve been sitting out 3hrs, and missing food. And can’t call anyone because their phones obviously are also off. Pathetic
Edit: just drove all the way back and asked to get all of our food remade (which was only 2 sandwiches besides the missing stuff) because that food we actually got was now getting cold along for having to drive all the way back along with the ice cold fries and the one worker literally asked “why”
