Here is my 2 cents on the food. First the drink. Mardi gras sumething..U R only allowed 2. It was 8.50 but it was good/pretty and gave you a quick buzz. Appetizer, crab stuffed mushrooms. MMM tasty lots of crab... good stuff...... 33 shrimp for 11.99... This is why I came. Fried shrimp better tasting than any other fried shrimp I have had in SWFL so far. Cocktail could be more spicy but thats me.. Coconut shrimp.. this is not a favorite of mine...but my wifey and others luv it. There was a dipping sauce with I think had mango-pineapple in it. It actually made it very good and well recieved for me.
BBQ shrimp... I do not like peeling shrimp and it was a bit bland for me. BUT it was well saute and I did like it....Oh yes a large portion of french fries ...too much for me to consume. Over all a really good meal.

Chit chat. The parking lot seems to be small if they should get busy.  I was here at 1140AM on a wednesday.  My server Sarah did an wonderful professional job..Kudos!  The bartender and cooks were terrific. Sometimes on a lunch schedule you get the 2nd string. These folks were all number 1 in my book.  The place was clean organize. It really has me coming back. Which is strange. I do not like chain eatery. But this was a good different

So if you had doubts put them aside and give Joe's a try.....

Always great service ... but not the fun restaurant it once was. We usually have dinner here twice a year when our family comes to visit. There's something for everyone on the menu, the service is always great, and it's very kid-friendly. But they seem to be changing the atmosphere of the restaurant and it's lacking the character it once had. The manager used to always come to the table and even hand out coupons for future visits and the servers would stop and sing every once in awhile during service. This is no longer the case. We asked our server about it and she said it was a "corporate" decision. It's sad to see such a fun restaurant reduced to just another seafood place.

Great food and ambience. We shared one of the steam pots and it was great. Everything was tasty and well prepared. The service was good, too and the view of the yacht basin is worth the price. We highly recommend this one!

Great Steam Pots!. Stopped in for lunch when we received a call to meet some friends for an impromptu cookout on Labor Day. We decided to order 4 steampots to go. While we waited, we enjoyed an appetizer of spicy peel and eat shrimp. Even after a 20 minute drive the pots were absolutely delish and really made a hit. Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Love the t shirts there too!

Always good. We always go to Joe's when we have company in town. The food is consistantly good and service is usually pretty decent.

Only complaint is that they don't have call-ahead seating even for a large group. GM says because the place is not a large restaurant, ok...but if you're getting a 20 min heads up on the group's arrival and it's a 45+ min wait, there should be some consideration.

Great little restaurant on the water. Good selection of seafood. Would have been 5, but my Mahi Mahi was not fresh. Crab was great, enjoyed the fancy bib. Kevin was a great server. Not too intrusive, but there when you needed him. Will go back next time in Fort Myers.

It deserves 5 stars based on the water view, and having Adam for a server. He was so great and attentive and every staff member was smiling and friendly. The crab legs were average. But the atmosphere is worth the stop!

I have always liked Joe's. Food and portions were good. Service and server were good. But please . . . management turn the music down! It hurt to think, let alone visit with my family. How about some soft low decimal Reggae or Caribbean music? Patronize the patrons not the staff, please and thank you.

Wonderful and friendly staff! I had the blackened fish tacos - super yummy! My fiancé got the popcorn shrimp, we loved the lunch specials. Can’t wait to come back here! From the bar we saw the devastation from Ian. So happy this spot is open and they are rehabbing the outside area back - so it’ll be better than what it was before.

Very good place to eat,even though it says that it’s seafood,it has a ton of yummy food that isn’t seafood and would really recommend eating here even if you don’t like seafood!(special thanks to our assistant crystal for the amazing service)

Had a really nice evening getting to see the water while eating dinner. Our server Sydney was great! So attentive, friendly, always had a smile and eager to please attitude. Sydney makes me want to go back! Absolutely ask for her when you go! Thanks Sydney!

Great seafood in town. Shawn was my waiter and his customer service skills is in the next level. Sometimes when you're at a restaurant you feel like resentment at the end of the night or if you have to send something back but not from Shawn. The watermelon lemonade was something neither my wife nor I liked and he was so good about switching it out. The food was well cooked and flavor was good on the Cajun steampot

Hi all! Stopped in for dinner and drinks downtown. 1. Love the view. 2. The king crab bucket that my husband tried to talk me out of for the price of $58 was sooooo worth it. Get it. 3. I got a Hurricane cocktail. Omg so good. 4. Theresa, our waitress was an absolute delight. She made the experience way more better. We love her. ❤️
