Wow… Just wow. I’ve lived in Indian land for three years now. And I have never eaten here until recently. I can say this without a doubt, best Chinese in the area.
They do take a little bit longer than their local competitor, but once you taste the food you know it’s worth the wait.
If you don’t want to wait long, make sure you call and place the order over the phone for pick up.
Most Everything I’ve had here is superior in flavor and freshness.
No complaints other than the long wait times, but that lets you know it’s good!

This has to be the worst experience I ever had. I placed an order at 5:48, and was told it would take 45 minutes. I arrive to only wait until 7:30. Before my food is given to me. I asked multiple times about my oder and was told 10 minutes. I understand that there is a shortage of staff, but this place lack organization, and a sense of urgency. I will never waste my time by visiting this place ever again. If I could give negative stars I would.

I have been going to the China inn for years . It is consistently great food and budget friendly ! The couple that owns this place work really hard and this place is frequented by the road workers ! That’s always a plus for me . They know where the good food is . The house fried rice is very good and my son likes the General Tso’s chicken. I like the wonton soup and the boneless ribs as well as the sweet and sour chicken . Some of the reviews I’ve read have referred to this couple having their kids running around the restaurant . My response ? This is a family owned restaurant !!! Go to a damn chain restaurant where everything is ABC 123 bland and corporate America . You can’t eat inside this restaurant anymore and it’s in a strip mall and it’s not shiny and perfect inside . But as for myself , I choose to support a hard working couple who consistently provide good Chinese food at a great price ! Support local businesses ! This place is great !

The portions are SO much smaller than competitors, the egg rolls were dry, the scallion chicken tasted like sesame chicken (breaded & sweet) and there were 0 scallions, the beef & broccoli had very little beef & hardly any sauce and the 6 dumplings came with a thimble size of dipping sauce. The General Tsao's was too sweet & had 0 hot peppers. They seemed too busy for 2 employees. Even with the pandemic, once you start getting cheap, you lose business!

Have been to 5 chineese restaurants in the Charlotte area where one was worse then the other. Went to China Inn and The eggroll had no filling, hence no taste. Tossed that in the garbage. The pork loin was tasty but dry. Best fried rice in charlotte yet, and the sesame chicken was very good, but a little sweet. This seems like the best Charlotte has to offer. Will go again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Waited 35 minutes after calling ahead by 1 hour. There were 8 other people waiting at the same time, with the same complaint. If a good Chinese food restaurant were to come in here, they would be out of business in 2 weeks!

Chinese food good taste compared to NY Chinese food! People are very nice...need to learn how to time the orders thay are called in!

Sometimes the wait is a little longer (when you arrive) than most Chinese food places but it’s definitely worth the wait and tastes way better than any other Chinese food places in the area. Probably why they’re so busy, so just a heads up if you visit.
